All seems to be going pretty well in the life of Britney Spears these days!

And many are attributing that new found happiness to her agent/boyfriend, Jason Trawick.

The two were spotted together in Beverly Hills yesterday looking happy as ever in front of the cameras. And it seems even momma Lynne Spears likes the new boytoy.

According to Lynne, "He is the kind of man you would dream of your daughter marrying."

Bet she didn't say the same thing about K-Fed back in the day.

As we mentioned earlier this year, Britney Spears' former "manager", Osama Lutfi, is suing Brit Brit's parents for defamation!

Cuz, you know, his good character got ruined by those two.

However, a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge decided yesterday that the lawsuit will not go to trial until next year.

Guess he didn't find it that important to start the trial right away!

The case has now been scheduled for March 8th, 2010

As for BritBrit's parents, they're fighting back. An attorney for Lynne Spears is reportedly seeking to dismiss the defamation claim against her since they say it impedes her free-speech rights.

Jamie Spears, attorneys for him are considering a countersuit.

Attorneys on both sides, however, have already told the judge they're willing to have the case resolved with a private mediator.

Thankfully, the restraining order on Lutfi to stay away from Britney is still in place until 2012.

It's war!

Britney Spears's former manager, Osama Lutfi, has just filed a lawsuit - on Tuesday - against the singer's parents, Jamie & Lynne Spears, PerezHilton.com has learned exclusively.

Why?

For defamation!

Lutfit's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, exclusively tells PerezHilton.com:

“This lawsuit is being brought as a result of the defamation, ridicule and harassment of Sam Lutfi by Jamie Spears and Lynne Spears. A thorough investigation has revealed overwhelming evidence from independent witnesses, showing that Lynne Spears knowingly and maliciously publicized devastating false information about Lutfi which destroyed his reputation, irreparably harmed his career, and subjected him to constant scorn and humiliation.

At the time of the trial in this action, the jury will have an opportunity to weigh the credibility of the witnesses. In doing so, it will be faced with two threshold questions: Why would a supposedly loving mother write a tell all book about the sordid details of two of the most devastating nights of her daughter's life and go on countless talk shows for her own profit? And why would a loving father who deems his daughter to be incompetent, thrust her into a massive world tour only to subject her to the very limelight that threatened to shatter her life, for something other than his own personal gain?

The facts of this case will reveal Jamie and Lynne’s conduct in light of these questions. It will unequivocally explain the motivation of two people who are seemingly willing to destroy anyone and anything that gets in the way of their ability to control and profit from their daughter. Through this action, the truth about Jamie, Lynne and their relentless desire to control Britney Spears and her fortune will be revealed.”

According to BritneySpears.com, the pop star's current status is:

"I just took my babies to our new home and they loved it! I can't wait to move in. ~Britney"

On Tuesday, Brit Brit and her momma, Lynn, were spotted outside the Calabasas gated community the pop tart and the fam will be calling home soon.

At this time last year, BritBrit's life was a complete mess.

Nice to see her in a good place! And a new place - literally!

Stoopidity does run in this family!

Star magazine is reporting that teen mom Jamie Lynn Spears had liposuction.

While she was pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!

The former Nickelodeon star reportedly got worried when she thought she was putting on too much weight.

And, apparently not knowing she was preggers, she begged her mom to let her get lipo, says a source.

It seems mom of the year, Lynn Spears, allowed her daughter to get it.

WTF happened to exercising and dieting????? Plush, she's a teenager!

Another source says, Jamie "didn't know she was pregnant when she filled out the health questionnaire prior to the procedure. Her mom approved the injections and went through tons of red tape to get the clinic to administer them to an underage patient."

The procedure is not recommended for pregnant mommies.

One plastic surgeon, Dr. Gary Burton, says "Any form of liposuction is dangerous and should not be performed on a pregnant woman. It poses serious health risks to the fetus."

What do U think of Jamie getting lipo so young?

Lynne accompanied daughter Jamie Lynn on a doctor's appointment for her granddaughter Maddie, and then the family went on a little shopping trip at the Edgewood Mall in Mississippi, on Wednesday.

Much to our dismay, Jamie Lynn doesn't look very preggers.

Yet.

Lynn looks like she just can't wait to start writing her next tell-all. Good thing she had two daughters!

Lynne Spears thinks you want to see a movie based on her new memoir, Through The Storm.

We're sure Britney is pleased!

In case you hadn't heard it a million times, Britney's mom wrote a "tell-all" book recounting Britney's problems with alcohol, drugs and teenage sex.

She left out the part about a pushy, money-grubbing mother.

Apparently, Lynne's been shopping her idea around, and she even has her eyes set on Scary Movie's Anna Faris to play BritBrit.

And who will play Lynne?

Lynne wants Julia Roberts to portray her!

Okay, Lynne - we're sure Julia would love to join your freakshow circus. An Oscar-winner!

On Thursday, Lynne Spears was a guest on Mike and Juliet Show.

She's still hawking that book?????

She opened up about Jamie Lynn's (first) pregnancy and confirms her daughter's claim to OK! Magazine that she and hot babydaddy Casey are still together:

Lynne: "I thought she was joking when she first told me. I was looking at her face trying to wait for the punch line…wait for her to smile or joke.  She wanted the baby from the beginning."

Mike: "Are she and the baby's father together?"

Lynne: "She and the baby's father are on. You can't believe the media…I don't know why they do that."

Mike: "Did you think she was a virgin?"

Lynne: "Yes."

Momma Spears also talked to Mike and Juliet about Sarah Palin's teen pregnancy drama:

"I'm glad she didn't have to go through as much scrutiny as I did.  That was good. Maybe people looked at and thought maybe we were kind of hard. Nobody wants their children to have these kinds of hardships or bumps. Who would
want that?"

What does she have to say to all the people who blame her for her daughters' problems???

"People think I was this stage mom… that I was pushing my daughters to do what they did. I was actually their cheerleader. I have never been their manager…that's never been my role. I was the one that got their coffee in the morning and out of bed."

Hope she wasn't letting them have coffee when they were too young!

Unfortunately, Lynne was not asked to address the report of a 2nd Jamie Lynn pregnancy.
