Elton John Wishes Madonna Well With "Lip-Syncing" Her Super Bowl Performance!

madonna-elton-john-feud.jpg

Whoa! Fighting words! Whatever the beef is between these two, it runs deeeeep.

Following his notable disdain for the Queen of Pop at the Golden Globes this past month, Elton John took another jab at Madonna during a recent interview with ABC's Chris Connelly. Elton will also be a part of the big sports day festivities, starring in a commercial alongside X Factor winner Melanie Amaro, but the advice he had to share wasn't for the verging new artist — it was for Madge and her half-time show.

When asked what he would say to her before her performance, he replied:

Madonna Will "Give It Her All" At The Super Bowl!

And we would expect nothing less from the Queen of Pop.

You know Madonna: girl has to go big or go home. That's why were weren't the least bit surprised when her album release coincided with her movie hitting theaters, her fragrance making its debut and - oh yeah - her highly-anticipated halftime show at the Super Bowl!

But to be fair, this wasn't exactly Madonna's plan, as she confesses to the Wall Street Journal that it would've been much easier on her had the events been a bit more spaced out. Still, we can expect nothing but the best from her in every aspect of her life.

Here are some of the HIGHlights from her interview:

On having not planning for the fragrance, tour, album, movie and Super Bowl show to happen around the same time:

No, everything kind of converged in a bottleneck. I was always planning on making a record when I finished my film but I ended up finishing my film much later than I had expected so, because I had already scheduled time with all the producers and writers for my record, I had to multitask and work on my record at the same time I was finishing my film. And then somehow it worked out that the record was being finished right around the time the movie was coming out. Then I got talked into doing the Super Bowl.

On being a perfectionist:

I want to do everything really well. I kept saying to my manager, “I don't want to do the Super Bowl unless I can really give it my all, and really focus all my attention on it.” And he said, “Don't worry! There won't be any problems. You'll be able to concentrate just on the Super Bowl.” Now of course my movie is coming out during the Super Bowl so it's a little bit nerve-racking.

On rehearsing for the Super Bowl:

It's not an easy show to do because you have such a short period of time to set the stage up. And you're performing in the round so you can't direct anything that walks off anybody's sight line. You have eight minutes to put your stage together, 12 minutes to do the show and seven minutes to take it down.

Phew! We're tired just hearing her talk about it! We can't imagine living it!

But we sure as hell can't wait to watch it! All the hard work will pay off in the end, Madge! We have no doubt this is going to be STELLAR!
