And she's gonna look good while doing it!
Did we mention she's looking really good?
Maggie Q stripped down for Mother Earth, and asks some thoughtful questions - mainly how can everyday people help protect Mother Earth? The answer is simpler than you might think!
Check out her interview from PETA (above) !!!
Maggie isn’t just hardcore on screen, she’s got some serious spirit that defies anyone not to take an interest in the issue of animal rescue.
When asked if it was tough to be an an activist Maggie said:
"It’s funny; when you’re an animal lover and get involved in animal rights, it’s a whole different deal, impossible almost. Sometimes, I don’t want to know any more, but it’s one of my life’s missions. Animal cruelty is absolutely unnecessary in the world that we live in. I’m going to do everything that I can in my lifetime."
Maggie lovingly described her dogs,
"The three that I have now are from Asia and two are from different rescue groups that I worked with. At one point my count was up to eight rescue dogs. They were like Russian dolls, 90 pounds all the way down to the Chihuahua, who is 3½ pounds. Four of them were best friends and the other four were best friends."
Her passion for pups is truly inspirational.
We're proud of you, BB!
You may know her because of her new show Nikita, or her roles in the films Mission Impossible III or Live Free or Die Hard, but Maggie Q isn't your typical action star.
She's a strong advocate and fighter for animal rights, being a part of numerous animals protection groups.
At home, she is a full time vegetarian, living with three dogs - down from an original eight!
She loves animals and we love her! What an example for all of us! Keep it up bb!
