What an unlikely but sweet story!
According to TMZ, Lopez floated about
While there were plenty of celebrities watching who reacted to the Black Mamba's final game in which he dropped 60 points as the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Utah Jazz, there was also a video tribute filled with the athlete's peers who all said goodbye to the legendary player.
During the video Odom expressed his love for his former teammate and how proud he is to have shared a journey together.

We told you that apology was BS…
The athlete then released a public apology for for what he said — even though he was still against the idea of same-sex marriage "because of what the Bible says."
Well, apparently that apology didn't mean a whole lot as Manny reportedly took to Instagram early Thursday morning to share a Biblical message condemning gays to death!
The boxer's post, which has since been deleted, originally read:
It's been a sad couple of weeks.
On Monday, Glenn Frey of The Eagles died at 67, after suffering from intestinal issues for a few months. And we weren't the only ones rocked by his tragic passing.
Fellow artists like Niall Horan and Gene Simmons shared their sadness online over the loss of the late legend, but this grief wasn't only limited to members of the music community.

Magic Johnson might have a new ally in Charlie Sheen.
On Tuesday, Magic tweeted out his support for the actor following his HIV diagnosis reveal on The Today Show. Considering M.J. has HIV himself, the messages were nothing but supportive and positive.
In Johnson's shout out, he wished Sheen nothing but the "best" and also shared a wish for the pair's future. Check out the kind words (below)!
Lamar Odom has a huge supporter in Magic Johnson.
Speaking on the red carpet at the Habitat for Humanity Builders Ball in El Lay on Wednesday night, Magic shared some heartfelt words. He confessed:
"It's a tough situation for those who have known him and also those who are in the NBA family, and then probably all the fans here in Los Angeles and all the other cities that he played in, because of the fact that this is a young man that thrilled us all with his talents. But for me personally, I got a chance to know him and got to be friends with him, and he would always bounce things off [me], because when he came out, everybody compared him to myself—big man that could handle the ball—so we had that whole dynamic that we had together."
And the star continued:
We guess those reports that NBC was looking to hire a minority host weren't necessarily true after all…
Donald Trump has had one of the most controversial 2015s in Hollywood ever since his racist campaign speech and subsequent firing from Celebrity Apprentice made him both public enemy No. 1 and, somehow, ahead in the polls.
Well, after he was forced out of Miss USA, we were hearing that the Peacock peeps were looking to replace the Republican Presidential hopeful with a Latino host, with George Lopez as a name frequently coming up.
However, it's been a little over two months since Donald got the boot, and we still don't know who will be the face of the Apprentice's 15th Season.
With that said, a number of high-profile businessmen like Magic Johnson, Mark Cuban, and Virgin Group's Richard Branson have all been approached to fill the spot!
The only catch…
