Lion King 2: Simba's Pride has never been more accurate.

Homosexuality has been documented in more than 500 different species across the planet, but it's still not something you see every day.

That's why recent photographs of two male African lions having sex have gone viral!

Video: Kristen Bell & Dax Shepard Tour Africa In Style

Photographer Nicole Cambré was on Safari at the end of March when her guide pointed out the two lions with manes "mating" — it is worth noting that female lions with manes do exist, but they are even more rare than homosexual behavior in the species.

Sure, this could just be one lion proving his dominance over another… but we're going to choose to believe they're boyfriends — just look how cute and cuddly they're getting!

Welcome to the pride, lions!

This dragon definitely does not lay eggs!

After dropping a mysterious trailer for the upcoming film Pete's Dragon, Disney has been surprisingly secretive about revealing the titular fire-breathing beast — until now!

On Friday, the studio FINALLY unveiled the new version of Pete's dragon, and he looks… really cuddly!

Entertainment Weekly shared the first look on Friday, which shows the traditionally reptilian creature looking extremely mammal-esque!

It kind of reminds us of a green Falkor the Luck Dragon from The Neverending Story, or maybe if Chester Cheetah became the Hulk. Srsly, what is up with all that fur?!

While we're sure this will make younger audiences more sympathetic towards the mythical beast — which will sell a LOT more huggable dragon toys — we almost feel like they should change the title to Pete's Green Bear-Tiger Thing.

What do YOU think of Pete's furry friend? SOUND OFF in the comments — and go catch Pete's Dragon in theaters August 12!

Eric worked with the Nintendo company since 2003 and was involved in eight different Pokémon projects, including X, Y, Black, White, and SoulSilver — so his presence will surely be missed.

He leaves behind his wife and two daughters, and our thoughts are with the rest of his family and friends at this difficult time.

This is as terrifying as it is terrible.

A couple in San Francisco was enjoying the unseasonably warm February weather at the beach on Tuesday when a large wave carried them out to sea.

At first, the elderly woman was pulled off of the Pacifica beach at around 2 p.m. PST, but luckily knew to go with the current and remained afloat until she was pulled back into shore.

Unfortunately, the 60-year-old man she was with was not as lucky as he tried to fight the waves after going in after her.

UPDATE 12:01 P.M. EST: The death toll has risen to 10 with the tragic deaths of an elderly couple who just celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary.

What absolutely devastating news.

As you've probably noticed, 2015 has had one of the weirdest Winters ever as the competing El Nino Southern Oscillation and Arctic Oscillation have kept America relatively warm and dry.

But this weather phenomenon unfortunately took a terrifying turn on Wednesday when a cluster of freak tornadoes tore through part of the Southern United States, killing at least eight in the process.

The late December storms left four dead in Mississippi, including a 7-year-old boy, three in Tennessee, and another in Arkansas, but that death toll could rise as workers continue to address the damage early Thursday.

A staggering 14 tornadoes were reported, with one Northern Mississippi twister traveling 150 miles on the ground… potentially the largest ever on record for the month.

Our thoughts are with everyone who just lost their homes or loved ones during what's supposed to be a happy time of year.
