Unfortunately, the horrific events didn't stop there though as there was another shooting on Thursday night in Dallas that left five police officers dead and another seven injured.
The attack, which is now the deadliest in U.S. law enforcement history since September 11, 2001, occurred during a Black Lives Matter protest over the deaths of Alton and Philando as multiple officers were shot by snipers.
Obviously people are quite upset over the injustice that we've seen in our country, but violence and taking innocent lives is not the right course of action as celebs like John Legend, Demi Lovato, and more took to Twitter to share similar sentiments regarding the recent Dallas shootings!
Check out the most powerful reactions (below) and let us know how you feel about the recent shootings.
Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams' marriage is officially over.
The former flames have finalized their divorce, and now we're learning about how they're divvying up their assets after five years as husband and wife.
According to court documents, Miz Moore is keeping two homes. The Princess Diaries alum will get a condo in Beverly Hills as well as a home in Griffith Park.
However, she and her ex will split the furniture from the G.P. residence.
In addition, the 32-year-old will keep a 2012 Toyota Prius, while the songwriter is walking away with a 1959 Cadillac. Plus, the 41-year-old is also holding onto his comic book collection and a couple pinball machines.
Neither star is coughing up spousal support, but Ryan is giving Mandy $425k cash, since the possessions he's getting are worth more than the ones she's receiving.
So, it looks like everything is even steven between these two!

We guess this was going to happen sooner or later!
According to Us Weekly, the musician is dating model Megan Butterworth — and has been for quite some time!
On one post he penned:
Hopefully this legal victory makes Mandy Moore feel a bit more safe!
On Wednesday, Mandy was granted a three-year restraining order against Salahudin Moultaali, a clearly unstable man who has stalked her in the past. According to TMZ, the order requires him to stay 100 yards away from Mands, her home, and vehicles at all times.
Considering Salahudin violated a prior restraining order which he is now facing three misdemeanor charges for, we wonder how this development will play out.
It's an extremely scary case since he was arrested THREE TIMES in the span of TWO WEEKS after he continued to leave the singer notes about Satan and God at Mandy's Hollywood home.
The man also insisted on speaking with Ms. Moore.

Shouldn't they do something about this?!
Stalkers can be a VERY serious thing which is why Mandy Moore has good reason to be a bit worried.
Not only does the 31-year-old have an alleged stalker named Salahudin Moultaali who has been bugging her recently, but he has been by her Hollywood home three times in the last two weeks reportedly ranting and raving!
The reason he hasn't been locked up? Well prosecutors claim
Mandy Moore wants to make sure her pets are taken care of in the midst of her divorce from Ryan Adams.
ICYMI: The 31-year-old singer filed for divorce back in January just before their sixth anniversary, citing an amicable split.
Now, the Walk To Remember star and her songwriter ex have been unable to reach an agreement because Adams won't pay spousal support or take responsibility for some of the pets they share — according to documents obtained by TMZ.
The Candy singer claims she makes less than a quarter of Adams' $151k earnings per MONTH. She's asking for $37k per month and for the former Whiskeytown singer to take four of their eight pets.
If you follow Mandy on Instagram, you'd quickly learn that the six cats and two dogs are very well taken care of — but we can imagine it would be a lot to manage on your own!
Plus, according to Moore, Adams initially agreed to take two of the kitties but never did.
One thing the former couple agreed on is to split their mortgage equally.
Gotta start somewhere…
