The UK debut of Marina and the Diamonds' Electra Heart album was tainted today, as Marina Diamandis' has an extremely inflamed vocal chord and will be unable to sing until her throat has chilled the fu** out!

On doctor's orders, Marina must rest her voice for AT LEAST a month, lest she cause permanent damage.

Unfortunately, this affects her upcoming Lonely Hearts Tour - due to ignite this Friday in Manchester - but thankfully,

Only a few short days until we're fully impacted by the AWESOMENESS that is the release of Electra Heart, but Marina & The Diamonds is certainly keeping us satiated until it drops on April 30th!

Marina premiered the song on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge today and though we were waiting for Selenita to do a cover, (maybe she can do a happier one?) we're glad SOMEBODY finally did the girl version!

Electra Heart is the name of Marina Diamandis' new album, and she says it's an ode to dysfunctional love!

Apparently it was inspired by a break up (Helllllloooo Adele!), but she doesn't wanna play the victim!
