We were already excited to see the new take on Spider-Man — but this news makes us SUPER stoked!

After scrapping Andrew Garfield as the wall crawler due to a disappointing box office take by The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Sony struck a deal with Marvel to share the character so he can appear in MCU movies like the upcoming Captain America: Civil War, while Sony will be in charge of Spidey's solo movies.

We already knew that Tom Holland was cast as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, and Marisa Tomei signed on to play Aunt May, but now a new actress who has joined the action adventure — Zendaya!

There aren't a whole lot of details about the role, but Deadline reports the 19-year-old will reportedly be playing a character by the name of Michelle. It isn't known whether this part will be a love interest for Peter Parker/Spider-Man, but speculation is that it probably won't.

Though it apparently is a "key role" in the first film. Hmmm.

The next solo Spider-Man adventure is going to be directed by Jon Watts and produced by Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige and will be hitting theaters July 7, 2017!

Are you excited about Zendaya's casting?!

Marisa Tomei Is Overwhelmed By Florals At The Critics' Choice Awards

It's not often you see a short dress at an awards show!

We're happy Marisa Tomei broke the typical gown mold at the Critics' Choice Awards in LA on Sunday, but we wish we could say we loved her flared Zuhair Murad mini.

Sadly, it's just not quite up our alley. The floral print is a tad too loud and distracting, and definitely would've benefited from a lighter touch — like maybe if there was no white border around the roses.

Still, Marisa herself was looking pretty as a flower!
