Yep! According to the latest reports, Marisa Tomei will play Peter Parker's Aunt May in the next Spider-Man movie!
Sources say the In The Bedroom star was straight-up offered the role late last week, and all that's left is the numbers.
And speaking of numbers, at 50 years old, Marisa will be the youngest woman by far to play Aunt May, who in comics has been elderly since the 60s.
Rosemary Harris originated the part in 2002's Spider-Man at the age of 75. Sally Field was 66 when she took over the role in Amazing Spider-Man.
Hmm, we don't know about this…
Don't get us wrong, we love Marisa Tomei as much as George Costanza does. We'll even defend her Oscar win.
What do YOU think of the casting??
This year's Met Ball honors the legendary Charles James, who is often referred to as America's first couturier.
We can't wait to see modern takes on this sartorial wizard's magnificent ball gowns, but first let's get to know him a little bit better!
Dive on into the facts pool …AFTER THE JUMP!!!
Paper magazine's editorial director Mickey Boardman has worked with some of the most famous celebs, and now he's dishing out some inneresting goss, and he ain't holding back!
He had the pleasure of working with Mariah Carey for the December 2009 cover and called it "super-easy and fabulous."
And, even though you'd expect diva behavior from Miz MiMi, Mickey says that she was far from it, adding:
The designer showed his modern architecture-inspired line on Wednesday, which included lots of geometric lines, bold pops of color, pleated skirts, cutout gowns, lucite heels and sunglasses that would make the most stylin' granny jealous.
Check out the highlights from the designer's show (above) and pics (below)!
We just love it when celebs give up some of their time to do a PSA to help others.
We especially love when that cause is such a great cause like AIDS research.
We love it even more when that video is absolutely HIGHlarious!
In the video:
"Zach Galifianakis, Sarah Silverman, Tracy Morgan, Chloe Moretz, Marisa Tomei and Isaiah Mustafa let you know how we can all get rid of AIDS by 2015. ACTIONS. SPEAK. LOUDER. Go to ONE.org."
Check out the PSA (above) from FunnyorDie.com for some laughs and a good message.
LIKE A BOSS!
Check that stroll, guys! Daaaaaaaang! Ha!
This is the best picture we could find of Marisa Tomei leaving a yoga class in West Hollywood.
Maybe something happened during the class?
Maybe she sneezed while doing downward dog and is now stuck like that forever?
Let's hope not!
