Mark Wahlberg may have been the master of ceremonies during Pope Francis' World Meeting of Families event this weekend — but he was also the master of jokes!
The Philadelphia conference was the final leg of Pope Francis' first papal visit to the U.S. and featured performances by Aretha Franklin, Andrea Bocelli, The Fray — and 14-year-old opera singer Bobby Hill!

After his performance during Sunday's event, Hill went up to the Pain & Gain star and gave him a big hug. Wahlberg then said to the crowd:
"That right there was truly the voice of an angel. But then he whispered in my ear that he loved the movie Ted, and I told him that was not appropriate for a boy of his age."
He then asked Pope Francis for forgiveness for the raunchy film — though he probably should have asked apologized for Ted 2. Ha!
See how the Pope reacted to the funny moment (below):
This is so incredibly sad.
The production crew and cast of Mark Wahlberg and Kate Hudson's newest film Deepwater Horizon is currently devastated by the loss of one of their stuntmen.
41-year-old Shawn Robinson was found dead in his New Orleans hotel room last week after he failed to show up to set on July 28th and another stuntman went to check on him.

Shawn was the son of legendary stuntman Dar Robinson, who tragically died in an accident when his motorcycle went off a cliff while he was filming a scene for Million Dollar Mystery. Shawn also has a brother, Troy, who is Vin Diesel's stunt double.
There are no details about the cause of death but Lionsgate, the company behind the film, released a statement saying:
OK, obviously we knew from movies like Two Guns and Shooter that Mark Wahlberg was good with guns. But who knew he was so good with toy bows and arrows??
But on Thursday night's

He may be a Family Guy, but he's not very good with friends!
Apparently, Seth MacFarlane has been rather cold to his fans in New York as he promotes his new film Ted 2.
We're hearing that while Amanda Seyfried and Mark Wahlberg have been taking selfies with all of their fans, Seth couldn't even be bothered enough to leave his hotel room!
The 41-year-old reportedly parked his SUV in the private one-car garage at the Four Seasons as to avoid having to interact with anyone.

We wonder why he's being so rough on his fans?
Especially since he kind of needs them if the Ted sequel is going to do well in the box office once it premieres this Friday!
