Whoa! Fighting words! Whatever the beef is between these two, it runs deeeeep.
Following his notable disdain for the Queen of Pop at the Golden Globes this past month, Elton John took another jab at Madonna during a recent interview with ABC's Chris Connelly. Elton will also be a part of the big sports day festivities, starring in a commercial alongside X Factor winner Melanie Amaro, but the advice he had to share wasn't for the verging new artist — it was for Madge and her half-time show.
When asked what he would say to her before her performance, he replied:
And for some reason, her accent has miraculously disappeared! HA!
We kid, we kid! We love her to death!
X Factor winner and our fave Melanie Amaro stopped by to talk to Rolling Stone this week and talked a bit about what it was like competing on the show. She reveals how she let other opportunities to be on other shows pass her by in hopes that a show like Factor would come along, one that she was more suited for.
Check out the video (above) to hear more from Melanie about her music, career and what she sees coming next for herself.
Two words: BIG THINGS!
Looks like X Factor US winner Melanie Amaro will be getting some company at Sony Music!
Sony Music has a nice thing going with Simon through Sony's co-owned Syco Music. It will be Syco Music that will promote, record, and market anyone that Simon signs, including these three dudes. Indeed, even though Melanie is Simon's priority, he explained to sources that he would "mad" to let the three male contestants go.
As we previously reported, Astro has already hooked up with X Factor UK's Cher Lloyd on one of her tracks and Rene's Young Home will reportedly drop in January 2012. But what's next for these bright stars? Will any other contestants join them?
Who do U want to see from X Factor US make it big?

Melanie Amaro KILT IT last night! Absolutely!
But guess what! She was able to blaze through her performance even with last minute changes!
You see, she wasn't originally planning on singing Listen. Oh no, she had prepared for Nights In White Satin.
But then Simon Cowell went to her and, well, we'll let Melanie tell it best:
This was the big moment for the final three!!!
After their duets, Josh Krajcik, Melanie Amaro and Chris Rene had to each perform their "Song To Win" on The X Factor. It was their last chance to remind the world and prove to the judges that they deserve to be in this competition and more so, WIN IT!
While we were impressed across the board, the CLEAR winner to us is the powerhouse voice that is Melanie Amaro. That girl has the kind of talent and soul that others could only dream about. We're talking the range of Mariah Carey, the presence of Beyonce and the strive to reach new heights like so many divas before her!
She close the night with what we think will become her signature song, Listen, which when you listen to (above), your heart is gonna swell and soar with pride!
To be fair though, it will be a very close race for Melanie, as both Josh and Chris brought all they had with their performances as well. Josh performed a beautiful rendition of Etta James' At Last and Chris, well, he reminded us how he got into this competition to begin with with his song, Young Homie!
Now THAT's a finale! Check out the fellas' performances AFTER THE JUMP!!!
