Yes! Met Gala news!
The first Monday in May is basically fashion's biggest day, and now we know what 2017 will bring!
The theme for next year is the inimitable Comme des Garcons designer Rei Kawakubo, who is known for some of the most striking and innovative designs in the industry! It's gonna be out-of-this-world!
The actual exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum will open May 4, and will "feature approximately 120 Comme des Garçons womenswear pieces, designed by Kawakubo, now 74, from as early as the brand's very first Paris runway show in 1981. And unlike prior Costume Institute shows, the garments will not be placed behind glass partitions and will instead be placed at eye-level without any barriers."
Sounds awesome! We can't wait to see celebs interpret this very worthy theme.

Rita Ora can't be bothered with all that Becky dramz!
As we faithfully continue our search for the mistress Beyoncé refers to in her song Sorry, the 25-year-old singer would like to reiterate the fact that she most definitely did NOT interfere with Jay Z's marriage.
And quite frankly, Rita thinks it's pretty "rude" you'd even assume so! Snaps!
In a new interview with Vanity Fair, the Body On Me songstress stressed:
As you've probably heard, the Girls creator and star faced a lot of backlash after attributing some unfair sentiments on the athlete while opening up about her horrible experience at this year's Met Gala.
Well at an event on Tuesday night, OBJ decided to clear up some of the air in response to the drama. The 23-year-old confessed to Complex:
Lena Dunham is stirring up controversy yet again.
Hot off the heels of the OBJ dramz, the Girls star is facing backlash once again after tweets she posted back in 2010 and 2011 were branded as "racist."
The tweets (that are still visible on the writer's page at the time of this posting) read:
Lena Dunham is getting a LOT of heat for seemingly throwing shade at Odell Beckham Jr.!
In her Lenny Letter interview with Amy Schumer released on Friday, the actress recalled her experience at the 2016 Met Gala, describing how the NFL wide receiver completely ignored her, even though they sat at the same table.
The anecdote really pissed people off, because the Girls creator assumed the football player didn't want to talk to her because he wasn't interested in having sex with her.
Irritated Twitter users flocked to the status-sharing site to slam the 30-year-old, calling her self-absorbed, hypocritical, and even racist, posting things like:
Maybe he doesn't watch HBO??
During their sit-down, the two funny ladies revealed they had a horrible time at the event, and left super early!
"You and I were literally sitting across from each other at the Met Ball, and it was like a crazy countdown to when we could escape. You were like, 'We're honored to be here. We're honored to be here'… I attempted to grind my ass on Michael B. Jordan for an additional 20 minutes and then left right after you."'
However, the worst part of the evening was Lena's table mate Odell Beckham Jr., who completely ignored her!
