So guess what M.I.A. decided to name her new baby boy with fiance Benjamin Brewer?

Ickitt! Yup, the the baby's name is Ickitt!

By naming her son thus, she has taken the crown of Worst Name from [Fill In Your Favorite]

We tried to see if the name has any sort of significance, but a Google search turned up nothing of the sort.

Really - Ickitt?

Although, this is M.I.A. we're talking about here!

Can anybody shed light on the meaning of the name???

For goodness sake, the woman just had a baby!

According to reports, the Oscar people are desperate for songstress M.I.A. to rally like she did for the Grammys.

They reeeeaally want her to sing the Oscar nominated song O Saya from Slumdog Millionaire at the show Sunday night.

The producers allegedly offered the new mom a "large bed" to sing from onstage. Ha!

One of the producers said, "We'll make it as easy for her as we can."

The UK's Guardian paper reports that the Oscar peeps are also considering her request to appear via hologram a la Will.I.Am on CNN.

We have a feeling she'll opt to stay home and chill with her new baby!

As we mentioned this past weekend, the lovely M.I.A. finally gave birth to a healthy baby boy last Wednesday.

However, the tot has yet to receive a name, or at least one hasn't been revealed publicly..

But, here comes a surprise. M.I.A. has yet to publicly release any photos of her or her baby boy since giving birth. However, one of her friends has put the baby's photo up on MySpace!!!

M.I.A. sent a message out to some people yesterday and one of them happened to be her friend, MC Afrikan Boy.

Afrikan Boy took to his personal blog and just posted the following message along with the photo:

M.I.A'S BABY PHOTO!

I just woke up when i recieved this baby picture from Maya of her newborn son….

He is Handsoommmeee!!..

I Need to teach him how to make PoundedYam and get Straight A's in School like Me!!!

Somehow we don't think M.I.A. will be too pleased with him releasing her private photo out there.

And just what does "I Y H K D" mean?

But aside from all of that, she sure does have one cute baby!

The most pregnant person to ever grace a Grammy stage, the Brits' M.I.A., has finally given birth!

Sources say the street chic diva became a new mommy on FridayWednesday.

The sex of the baby has yet to be announced. Update: It's a boy!

We also can't wait to know what the babe's name is!

A very street chic and pregnant MIA got cozy with pretty in pink Katy Perry on the Grammys red carpet.

M.I.A.'s outfit looked comfy and - if she happened to go into labor - it's something she wouldn't mind, um, mind getting all dirty.

Major props to the Paper Planes singer/rapper for going through with it, showing up on the day she was due(!!!), and performing with four of the best rappers in the game.

This year's Grammys promise to be an exciting one!

Despite being due to deliver her first child the night of the show, M.I.A. plans on performing at the ceremony. The singer reasoned, "They say that you're often late the first time, so I'm planning to go. We'll see. People are trying to get me to relax and focus on the baby. It's like being in parallel universes."

She should give birth during the show! Now THAT would be great TV.

And if M.I.A. doesn't give birth on stage, there's also the Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus duet, which should prove to be a lesson in opposites.

And if that doesn't do it for you, there's the John Mayer and Keith Urban Bo Diddley tribute. There's also some U2, Justin Timberlake, and Rihanna for good measure.

It looks like songstress M.I.A. won't be making an appearance at the Grammy's!

The Record Of the Year Grammy nominee recently revealed that her baby is due on Grammy awards night, February 8th!

Crazy coincidence!

Wouldn't it be awesome to deliver your first born and nab a huge Grammy on the same night?
