What what what?! New M.I.A. album art that totally reminds us of old 90s graphics? Hells yes!
And it fits in with the British/Sri Lankan artist's gritty-fab swagger very nicely!
M.I.A. tweeted an elusive image on her Twitter today (below) featuring the Hindu OM symbol used for meditation!
And underneath the OM is a list of… track names perhaps?
But where is Bad Girls?? Or is M.I.A. only releasing Bad Girls with its various remixes on her hardcore, gold, USB car-key necklace?!
Hmmm… very mysterious, cheeky lady!

AND these supreme stars are just some of the multitude of mega talent that will be taking part in the music video awards orgy-extravaganza that is the MTV Video Music Awards 2012!
Katy Perry has been nominated for Video of the Year with her fantastical adventure-time vid for Wide Awake, and Rihanna's dark and twisty tale of emotionally (and physically) damaging romance AKA We Found Love will be competing alongside!
Riri is also getting props in the best video category for the smooth and somber visuals for her and Drake's Take Care, and M.I.A. will be throwing her galang-spiced towel in for her death-defying CRAY vehicular stunts in the desert-set, dash-board banging vid for Bad Girls!
And, rounding out the Video of the Year nominations for 2012 is the paint-splattered vid for Gotye's Somebody I Used to Know.
Ooooo we can't WAIT to see what ridiculous schemes MTV is cooking up for our viewing pleasure!
The 2012 Music Video Awards blast onto screens this September 6!

TURN IT UP!!!
Her Madgesty's new song just hit Billboard's "Dance/Club" chart!
This isn't a huge deal for Madonna, considering this is the 60TH TIME she's made the list, but we're still proud!
Turn Up the Radio debuted on the ranking at #39 — but if the song makes it to #1, it will be gurlfriend's 43nd track to swing to the top spot.
This is the third song from Madge's MDNA album to
You squat-thrust that vajayay like the musical cheerleader you are, Madgesty!
For those of you who were not fortunate enough to experience the ecstasy that is the MDNA tour LIVE and in person, stem those bubbling tear-ducts! We have a delightful mash-up of Give Me All Your Luvin', taken from only the best MDNA performances!
Step in line with Madonna (above)!
Hells yes we do! Ah, a ferocious female trifecta to slay even the choosiest of Charlies!
AWESOME GALANG-SPICED SAUCE!!!
But instead of lending her vocals to this slick new track, Queen Madge offered up her main-man producer William Orbit to assist the Bad Girl with some hypnotizing beats!
The pulsating tune will be featured on M.I.A.'s forthcoming studio album Matangi, and we suggest dimming the lights and shutting out ALL excess noise to completely indulge your senses with Baby (above)!
Now, we wonder… is Baby about her insanely cute baby boy Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman?
'Cause that would be an ADORABLE double entendre!
Uh, uh, OH YEA!
If we only had one wish this past weekend it would be to jam with the plethora of mega-mucisians at BBC's Hackney Weekend 2012 in London!!!
Basically, ’twas the music fest to end all music festivals!! Appropriatly so, seeing as the world is ending in December anyway… Ha!
The Hackney crowd was more than pleasantly surprised when Jay brought fellow throne-sitter Kanye West on stage to perform almost 30 mins of punchy, rapping goodness… even Beyonce gets into some moshing action around the 20:30 mark (above)!
Jay also brought out the Mistress of melodious political SWAG M.I.A. for a rendition of Swagga Like Us (below), and managed to finagle Princess Rihanna to lend her vocals to Run This Town (below).
In addition to alll the sick cameos, Jay solo-slayed classics like 99 Problems, Girls, girls, girls and SO MUCH MORE…
Seriously. Best set ever?! We say HELLLLL MOTHA F*CKIN YEA!
