Michael Lohan was removed from his court ordered treatment center today in order to undergo heart surgery. Seems Papa Lohan is in need of some attention to an important artery that is current very clogged.

This is sounding more and more serious.

In preparation for his heart surgery on Monday, Michael Lohan has been resting in a hospital. He's already had to postpone the surgery due to complications, including blood clots in his lungs.

It looks like things are deteriorating for Lindsay's dad though, as he is currently having trouble breathing and speaking.

Doctors say that he should have had the procedure done months ago, but since he's waited so long, his condition has gotten worse.

Instead of getting into trouble left and right and horning in on his daughter's life and career, he should have focused on his health!

Michael Lohan isn't out of the woods yet!

The father of the century was scheduled to undergo surgery yesterday when doctors discovered blood clots in one of his lungs, and now, it's been pushed back to Monday, as there are apparently more than they initially realized, and they want to put him on medication to help break some of them down before going under the knife!

We bet hospital visits were much more fun for him when he was declaring he had chest pains just to avoid jail, weren't they?

Either way, something tells us he'll be fully recovered and up to his old tricks in no time!

Usually Michael Lohan doesn't go to the hospital unless he's claiming pain during a cop chase.

But last night he was rushed to the ER after suffering chest pains and scoring a 200/110 on his blood pressure test. Yikes!

Last week, Michael Lohan miraculously avoided jail time after being arrested and pleading 'no contest' to four domestic violence charges.

While we REALLY think Michael should be behind bars right now, we're at least glad to report that he's checked into a Ft. Myers, Florida rehab center, where he'll spend 120 days in court-ordered treatment for anger management issues.

Here's what a source had to say about it:

"Michael knows he belongs there and he wants to get help."

"He wants to be in LA getting help from Dr. Drew, but he is doing what the court ordered."

Apparently, Michael's ex Kate Major is ALSO currently in a rehab center in Florida…but we're hearing that neither of the two have plans to contact each other.

Ugh! Can we PLEASE put Michael Lohan in a rehab facility where he's away from both the media AND his ex-GF?!?!?!?!

…Maybe there's a nice facility in Michigan that he can go to???

The Lohan family must be distant relatives of Harry Houdini because they seem to magically avoid jail time for their crimes.

After being arrested, charged, and pleading 'no contest' to four domestic violence charges, Michael Lohan was punished with 2 years of probation.

Although he was facing up to 4 years behind bars, his attorney told sources, "He will not serve any jail time."

Instead, Michael was ordered to spend four months working at the Teen Challenge International program and to take domestic violence classes in Fort Meyers.

Hopefully the Lohan patriarch will have FINALLY learned his lesson and will not only leave his former fiance, Kate Major, alone, but stay out of trouble for good.
