Nice try!

Mischa Barton explains the cause of her psychiatric stint at Cedar Sinai last month and we don't find it very convincing.

"I went through a tough spot where everything compounded on me, and it was like a perfect storm, like everything was happening to me at once," says the wacktress.

It seems that before Mischa was scheduled to begin filming her new CW show, Beautiful Life, she had done some extensive traveling on top of having a botched wisdom tooth surgery!

And then she turned to coke?!

Because they don't hospitalize or grant you a police escort for stress!!

"I had to get through it without proper painkillers because I couldn't take those during work," she says of the dental procedure. "So it's been a nightmare."

We're not surprised life was difficult for her without drugs!

"I was down in the dumps about everything there for a while," divulges Mushy. "Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom about things and have to get the most stressed out just to feel better again. I got completely stressed out and couldn’t handle everything, and now I feel really in control."

Mischa denies she suffered a mental breakdown.

Awww, honey. Denial is not one of the steps of recovery.

Mischa Barton did not look very happy as she took her doggie for a walk with some friends in NYC yesterday.

Maybe she thought that by not wearing any makeup and slouching like a 5-year-old she would be unnoticeable.

But there's no mistaking that sad, puss face! We'd know it anywhere!

This girl cannot get it together!

According to In Touch Weekly, Mushy Fartone is back to her hard pAArtying ways!

On August 2, Mischa was spotted drinking and chain smoking at the Summer Escape celebration in NYC's Cooper Square Hotel.

A witness reports, "She was hiding her drink under the table so no one would see it, she looked like such a mess and was stumbling around the hotel."

And after pounding several vodka drinks, the actress panicked and began to leave in a flurry.

The witness continued, "Her friends didn't know what to do with her: one minute she was having a great time and the next, she was all frantic, wanting to leave."

Does someone need to ditch the CW for rehab?!

We are all about keeping healthy and staying fit these days. It keeps you energized and alert and just makes you feel good! We hope these are the reasons behind the reports we are hearing that Mischa Barton has been hitting the gym intensely since starting work on her new CW TV show, The Beautiful Life. After her meltdown, some exercise endorphins could be just what she needs.

A source says that Mischa has really been "focused" on working on her fitness, but that they're also hoping the work-outs will boost her self-esteem: "She has big self-esteem issues. She hates her legs. She isn't comfortable with her body. It's been a big source of stress and self-hate."

Honey, there ain't nothing wrong with your body, unless you are still treating it like an ashtray and/or liquor cabinet. You're gorgeous when you're not a hot mess!

On second though, there's a lot wrong with your body - cuz you've been a hot mess non-stop for way too long recently!

So hit that gym, work those glutes, but don't overdo it! We're rooting for your comeback, Fartone!

Who knew the CW network was filming an R-rated show?

Mischa Barton was spotted yesterday in New York City filming a scene for the new CW show, The Beautiful Life.

But the wardrobe staff must have a wicked sense of humor, cuz we can't believe she'd actually be wearing THAT on the show.

Isn't she supposed to be a model on that shitfest????

Guess their way around the see-through top was to give her a fugly jacket to cover her nips.

At least her makeup looked a little bit better this time.

No real signs of improvement or damage to be seen of Mischa Barton as she films scene from The Beautiful Life in NYC on Monday.

Whoever is the makeup artist, though, needs to go a bit easier on the eye makeup.

Yuckity!

Plus, we sincerely hope that there is food in her mouth. Nutrition would be helpful in her recovery.

It seems Mischa Barton is having a harder time adjusting than she's letting on!

The wacktress skipped a 21st birthday party for The Beautiful Life cast member Nico Tortorella to cry and chain smoke over dinner at Sant Ambroeus on Saturday in NYC. She was the only member of the CW show not to attend.

Not a good way to make friends, Mushy!

She shouldn't be out and about during her "troubled moments!!!"
