2014 was a rough year for MTV's The Real World and The Challenge families.
In addition to losing the gorgeous Diem Brown in November, The Challenge: Battle of the Exes II cast also lost Ryan Knight the same month.
Sadly, Ryan passed away from an unknown cause after a hard night of partying — and now his ex-girlfriend Jemmye Carroll is speaking out on his untimely death.
The pair first started dating while filming The Real World: New Orleans in 2010 and broke-up in 2011. Despite the split, the two remained close friends and co-stars until his passing.
We still cannot believe the entertainment community has lost someone so lovely as Diem Brown.
Diem may have passed away over two months ago after loosing a long battle with cancer, but her co-stars on MTV's The Challenge: Battle of the Exes II continue to cherish the time spent with her.
The reality TV star's final episode aired on Tuesday, and her show mates have shared their heartbreak over the loss.
In a recent interview, co-star and longtime friend Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio had this to say about her passing:
Race is an issue that this needs to be talked about, and MTV is trying to get the conversation started.
This Martin Luther King Jr. Day, for the first time in the network's history, they'll be airing all of their programs in black and white from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The goal is jar audiences enough that they'll begin having, what MTV is calling "The Talk – candid, confident and 'color brave' conversations on race and bias." It's all a part of their Look Different anti-bias campaign.
Throughout the day, monologues from people like Kendrick Lamar, Common, Big Sean, Ava DuVernay, David Oyelowo, Penn Badgley, Jordin Sparks, Pete Wentz, Sen. Rand Paul, Rep. John Lewis, and Sen. Cory Booker will air, to help get people to discuss our differences.
We have a first look at Penn Badgley's clip for you (above)!
MTV's President, Stephen Friedman, talked about this, saying
Who's excited for the Golden Globes?
Greer Grammer sure is!
The reigning Miss Golden Globe chatted with us exclusively at the People's Choice Awards about who she's excited to see at this year's awards, who she thinks is going to walk away with a win, and what exactly she'll be wearing.
But that's not all, because the rest of her Awkward. cast was also on the red carpet to give us their take on the 2015 award season.
Plus, who knew Greer was such a big Reese Witherspoon fan??
Ch-ch-check out the MTV stars as they give us the scoop on all things Golden (above & below)!!!
Talk about going through the struggle!
The 32-year-old entertainer's flick gives insight into lots of areas of her life, like how she handled it when an anaconda bit one of her dancers!
But Nicki explains that she can handle anything! She said:
Sounds like Holly Montag's Christmas wish came true!
After getting married in September, the former Hills star is officially expecting her first child with husband Richie Wilson — and she has the baby bump to prove it.
The most exciting thing — next to being pregnant with a child, of course — is choosing an adorable name for the little bugger!
As you all know, Teen Mom's Maci Bookout is pregnant with her second child and she's currently deciding on a name!
She already has Bentley, her 5-year-old son — so we have to wonder if she'll go with another automobile-related moniker for her new bundle of joy. A theme's a theme, people!
Well, the 23-year-old is thinking of naming her daughter…
