This isn't looking good.
Dwight Howard was recently revealed to be under criminal investigation for child abuse for allegedly beating his six-year-old child with a belt buckle.
But Dwight was reported to the police by his baby momma Royce Reed and it turns out that she was investigated for child abuse, as well!
The incident happened back in February after the The Florida Dept. of Children and Families received a call from Dwight's son's school whom told authorities the child had been beaten on his neck and leg for using "potty words."
Royce subsequently admitted that she had beaten the child
He'll be remembered for his skill AND his courage!
Jason Collins is retiring from the NBA after becoming the first openly gay professional athlete in North America's four major team sports to play in a professional league - which happened with the Brooklyn Nets last season - and he leaves behind an amazing legacy.
He's been playing in the league since 2002. A major accomplishment in its own right!
The 35-year-old played the center position, and announced his retirement from basketball with a letter to Sports Illustrated.
