Neve Campbell News Archive
Neve Campbell is officially divorced from her husband of over 4 years (by one day), John Light.
Court documents filed on May 6 show the former couple divided up all of their assets in a confidential settlement agreement.
No details are known other than Neve asked the judge to deny Light any spousal support.
We're so sorry things didn't work out for these two and we hope they continue to amicably work out the divorce.
However, Neve still looks pret-ty good and we have no doubt in our mind that she will get a second chance at love!
In fact, it looked like there was a little sexual tension between Sid and Dewey in Scream 4 and we're not sure that was in the script! Just sayin'! Ha!
Seriously though, we wish these two the best as they go their separate ways.

Excellent! We wouldn't want to see it if they weren't involved in some capacity!
Now that Scream 4 has premiered and rocked our world in the best way possible, series director Wes Craven has revealed that not only is Scream 5 most likely going to happen, but he expects its surviving stars Neve Campbell, David Arquette, and Courteney Cox all to return!
"I imagine the core characters will continue. I suspect they'll be with us until the end, because they just are the heart and soul of the movie and especially since we tend to kill off most of the other people. They'll be with us. There will be some continuation of the drama of Sidney Prescott's family and the ghosts that haunt it."
Poor Neve! How many effing serial killers intent on murdering you can one girl possibly have?!
As much as we liked the finality of the way this past one ended, we can't say we'd be too disappointed if they all returned for one or two more rounds - so long as the take was as fresh as it was for 4!
Good lord, they NAILED IT, didn't they?

Guess the box-office belongs to the kiddies this weekend!
The Friday numbers are in and so far, the family flick Rio is in the lead with an impressive $10.2 million take from the box-office yesterday. If the 3D toon keeps this up, they could end up with a strong $37 million for the weekend.
Coming in at the #2 spot, slashing an estimated $8 million out of movie-goers, was Scre4m. The flick is getting decent reviews, but based on its performance yesterday, it is projected to take in $20 million for the weekend. That's well below what Dimension Films had projected, but still, not a bad start.
C'mon people! You can do better than this! Would it help if we told you we know the ending and it will undoubtedly BLOW YOUR MIND??? Trust us, go see this movie! It's scary! It's funny! It's written by Kevin Williamson and directed by Wes Craven - 'nough said!
As excited as we are about this, we think that it's getting close to enough here!
We don't want the entire movie to be spoiled!
Gah! Only four days away!
And check out THREE MORE, SLIGHTLY SPOILERIFIC clips featuring Courteney Cox in one dangerous situation, David Arquette in a press conference gone seriously wrong, and Neve Campbell receiving a phone call from a familiar friend…AFTER THE JUMP!
In the immortal words of Marlon Wayans in Scary Movie…"Run, bitch! Ruuuuuun!"
Well, not Hayden! Gurlfriend must have taken off in the opposite direction when Ghostface comes charging at them!
That's never a smart move! What the hell is she thinking?!
Oh man. We can't believe this one is only a week away!
What do U think?? Will U go check out Scream 4??
Wow. The truth is finally out!
Ever since Scream 4 began production last year, there have been rumors of problems on set and massive re-writes, ultimately leading to writer Kevin Williamson dropping the project and refusing to discuss what went down publicly - until now!
In the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, the writer has finally opened up about what exactly went down between he and exec Bob Weinstein, what led to Scream 3 writer Ehren Kruger coming in to do re-writes, and if he still supports the long-awaited sequel!
Oh, I got in a big fight with Bob Weinstein. God love him. I’ve worked with the man for 16 years out of my 16-year career. We get in some fights. We’re a very dysfunctional family over there at the Weinstein Co. We got into a massive fight creatively and we hugged it out and then we moved on. Oh just, you know — I felt strongly about this and he felt strongly about that and then I did this and that wasn’t right. Everyone was second-guessing everything because everyone wanted it to be so perfect. That’s exactly what happened. The one thing that Bob and I connect on very basically, why we’ve worked successfully together for 16 years, is we’re passionate. And no one is more passionate than Bob Weinstein. And it is that passion that allows you to make a movie where he will believe in you and trust in you and it’s also that passion that can cause fights and cause struggle. For 16 years, he’s kept me gainfully employed. I love him. Yes, we got into the fight, but then the big clincher came: Contractually, I had signed on to do The Vampire Diaries [Williamson's series for The CW]. You know, the little thing called first and second position? I was in first position to do Vampire Diaries and second position to do Scream 4. So guess what? It was a contractual thing. Warner Bros called up and they said, “Dude where are you? You have a show that’s on the air — where are you?” I did double duty as much as I could but The Vampire Diaries was also very important to me. But then one blog got a hold of it. It’s fine. What are you going to say? Yeah we got into a massive fight, but at the same time the fight ended and we hugged it out and we continued forward and we tried to make the best movie possible. But it was also very raw and sensitive.
I’m very supportive of the film and I hope everybody likes it. Not for a second would I dare do that to Wes Craven and Neve and Courteney and David and Bob Weinstein, who made my career. The reality is I did I worked very hard on the film. I did my darndnest to try and make a really good movie. I gave it my all. I wrote everything I thought I could write. Then they had to film it and I had to get back to The Vampire Diaires. So I think I really contributed. I hope it all turns out! My fingers are crossed!
Wow! He really lays it at all!
We can't imagine how much pressure must have been on their shoulders for this movie to be a hit, given the amount of fan dedication, so we can't blame them for having a blow-out over a creative difference!
Clearly, it happened how it happened, and they both have the movie's best interest at heart, so hopefully there isn't any lingering animosity and the movie turns out to be AMAZING! We having a feeling that it won't disappoint!
And check out the rest of Kevin's interview, and whether or not he's willing to do a Scream 5…AFTER THE JUMP!
It's all about part 5's these days! Have you SEEN the Fast Five trailer yet???
Here's what Wes Craven had to say about the potential fifth installment in the Scream franchise:
"You know, it's so far in the future. It's gonna be a year [before production would even start on 'Scream 5'] at least, I would think, because even though Kevin sketched out the general notion for '5' and '6', it was not like he had a…ten-page beat sheet. So it's gonna be a matter of if Kevin is of the mind to write again in this franchise, and when will we write? My approach to ['Scream 4'] in general…[was] I love[d] the element of Kevin, I love[d] the element of Courtney Cox and David and Neve…I knew everybody had pretty much signed up, but until I saw a substantial amount of the script I didn't say yes. So that's my approach: 'let's see the script, let's see what they come up with, and then I will or I won't.'"
Let's get going on that script then, Kevin Williamson! We need to get moving with Scream 5, if we're gonna start thinking about Scream 6 anytime soon. LOLz.
What part 5's are U looking forward to? Scream 5? Pirates 5? Fast Five? Final Destination 5?
