Jennifer Lawrence May Not Do More X-Men Sequels — And She Thinks The Studio 'Should Be Terrified' By That! Here's WHY!
Jennifer Lawrence has played Mystique in three X-Men movies now.
But with X-Men: Apocalypse hitting theaters later this month, the Oscar winner is unsure whether she'll continue with future installments of mutant mayhem!
Apocalypse marks the end of several First Class stars' three-picture deal with Fox — including Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, and Nicholas Hoult – and with J.Law's involvement up in the air, her male costars' future with the franchise isn't a sure bet either!
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the 25-year-old revealed that she and her cast mates were debating whether or not to sign on for more movies, explaining:
However, the Hunger Games actress dished on Monday that there was one particular thing the Skins alum hated back when they were dating. Hmm, go on!
Apparently, when J.Law was filming the X-Men franchise her former flame and costar did not enjoy the smelly removal process that was required for taking off her character Mystique's blue skin because the actress used shaving cream for it!
While at a fan screening for X-Men: Apocalypse in London, England, she explained:
In the battle against a blue-lipped Oscar Isaac, the young X-Men are going to need all the help they can get — and, yes, that means Wolverine!
As Jennifer Lawrence recruits super powered people to fight the godlike villain Apocalypse, it appears there's one she didn't count on…
Hugh Jackman's appearance in the film has been a poorly kept secret up until now, but in the final trailer we get our first glimpse of everyone's favorite metal-boned mutant.
New X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer Teases Jennifer Lawrence's Death — Could She Finally Be Done With The Franchise??
There has been a lot of press around whether X-Men: Apocalypse will be Jennifer Lawrence's last adventure as the mutant Mystique!
Though Lawrence has flip flopped on leaving the franchise — alternately saying it would be her last one, then teasing there was still hope — there's a pretty good chance we've seen the last of J.Law in blue body paint.
That's because 20th Century Fox just released a new trailer for the newest X-Men flick and it's full of blustery heroic talk about characters dying — and then ends with J.Law totally being choked out by Apocalypse!
Plus, if the blonde beauty signs on for another one, it means more filming with her ex Nicholas Hoult and constantly make the trek up to Canada to film — while basically naked!
Hmm… we can see why she might be ready to cash out…
Ch-ch-check out the new trailer (below) and let us know your thoughts on if Lawrence will survive!
This was the movie they were filming!
And with this kind of romance going on, now we understand why people got that idea! This is intense stuff!
Equals is the story of a dystopian future where emotions have been erased, but two young people find love anyway…
Do dreams really come true?
Since the twosome would make such a hot item, we're not surprised gossip about these two is still buzzing. One source told the magazine:
"It's very new. They just started seeing each other a couple of weeks ago. Only their closest friends know."
Still, this pairing isn't completely out of the blue since the A-listers have one very important friend in common — Chris Pratt. Most recently, the Guardians of the Galaxy actor starred alongside J.Law for a new movie called Passengers. Not to mention, the Parks and Recreation alum also became tight with the Captain America hunk after their Super Bowl challenge last year.
What a small world! Still, it's said the twosome's relationship is only in the early stages. The insider added:
When stars collide…
The 25-year-old Joy winner was spotted chatting with her X-Men ex during the first commercial break inside the televised star-studded event.
Miz Lawrence dated the 26-year-old hunk for several years after meeting in 2011 on the set of X-Men: First Class. The former duo split briefly in 2013 before officially calling it quits in the summer of 2014.
