What a bizarre casting choice!

Apparently, Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger may be joining the cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera sequel in the West End next year.

Love Never Dies is set 10 years after the original Phantom of the Opera on Coney Island in 1919. Scherzinger was said to be talking about the musical over the weekend at The Mirage's 20th anniversary party in Las Vegas.

Sure the girl can sing, but can she act?!

Not an acting job, but still!

Lindsay Lohan is replacing Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger as host of the F1 Rocks concerts in Singapore, featuring performers Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas, No Doubt, ZZ Top, Simple Minds and N.E.R.D.

The concerts center around the Singapore Grand Prix and Formula One racing.

Lindsay displayed her sparkling personality and extensive vocabulary in an interview saying:

"I like to drive. I like cars. I like fast cars. I studied NASCAR for almost a year for Herbie. It was very hot inside those cars."

LOLs!

Was the Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger's boyfriend afraid of settling down?????

Scherzinger's longtime boyfriend, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton dumped the Pussycat after a two year relationship because he wasn't ready to "become engaged, get married or think about having children."

Boo hoo!

The 24-year-old race car driver met 31-year-old Nicole in November of 2007, and the two struggled with the long-distance relationship, even though they appeared to be madly in love with each other while in the public eye.

Sources claim Hamilton is not ready to give up his singledom just yet!

Says one insider: "He’s young, they spend an awful lot of time apart and he’s just not ready to leave his youth behind for a lifetime with Nicole."

Another added: "He wants to play the singles market for a while and enjoy himself. He’s still very young, he’s incredibly rich and he’s not wanting to be tied down into a relationship right now. It’s as simple as that."

A little harsh!

Nicole is reportedly crushed by the break-up, with friends close to the PCD frontwoman saying Scherzinger saw herself with Hamilton "for a long time."

Scherzinger has cancelled her appearance at Singapore's F1 Rocks concert, which coincides with the Singapore Grand Prix.

“Nicole and Lewis would have been the star draw but she doesn’t want to be within 20 feet of him right now," an insider revealed. "She’s very upset about being ditched and needs time out. She’s cleared her schedule and will be in LA for the next two weeks."

Work it out, girl!

And it's all Nicole's fault!

Due to a diagnosed ear infection, lead singer Nicole Scherzinger is unable to travel or perform, forcing the Pussycat Dolls to cancel the first three shows of their upcoming tour with the Black Eyed Peas.

The dates, which have not yet been rescheduled, are August 24th in Mansfield, MA, August 25th in Wantagh, NY and August 27th at the New York State Fair in Syracuse.

We're sure the other girls are thrilled!

Guess the execs in charge don't think the other girls are good enough to fill in for Scherzinger.

Update: We've just heard from the Pussycat Doll's management that "Pcd was never even asked to tour with the BEPS nor were ever booked to appear at any of there shows.

Nicole does not have a inner ear infection. PCD just wrapped 6+ months of touring the world and Nicole is in Europe on Holiday!"

So even though the Pussycat Dolls toured with Britney Spears as a supporting act for the North American leg of her Circus tour, the Dolls never saw hide nor hair (extension) of the pop star.

Nicole Scherzinger chalks it up to the acts' busy schedules, saying, "We go on stage at different times in different cities at different times so it's understandable."

If you, however, ask Britney about the Pussycat Dolls, she will probably think that you're talking about something else entirely.

Major drama went down this weekend!!!!!

The growing resentment amongst the Pussycat Dolls has finally reached a boil!

Multiple sources have repeatedly told us that there is major "tension" in the group, especially over shit like this, with lead singer Nicole Scherzinger distancing herself from the rest of the girls and their last two singles being released as "The Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger."

Well, the shit hit the fan and splattered all over the arena at Britney Spears' concert in Phoenix on Friday night.

The Dolls were opening up for Brit Brit and during their set, PCD member Melody Thornton (above), who is from Arizona, took a moment to address the crowd and thank her family in attendance, telling them: "Thank you for supporting me even though Im not FEATURED!!"

Burn!!!!!!!

Melody then went on to say "Dont let anyone stomp on your dreams!" Peach, sister. Preach!

Nicole shot Thornton the nastiest look and, needless to say, concertgoers tell us that the rest of the Pussycat Dolls performance after that was "majorly awkward"!
