Michael Skupin is ready to talk.
The ex-contestant said in a statement:

No Doubt? More like "No Gwen"!
Gwen Stefani may be the breakout star of her iconic '90s rock band, but now that she's focusing all of her time on an elusive solo career and relationship with Blake Shelton, it looks like her boys are finally ready to move on.
In fact, Tom Dumont, Tony Kanal, and Adrian Young have already recorded a brand new album without The Voice judge's help and are currently selling it around!
Apparently, the rest of ND teamed with AFI lead vocalist Davey Havok to form a completely new band, but have yet to settle on a name.
We're sure it'll be tough for the band formerly known as No Doubt to switch from a frontwoman to a frontman, but we're confident in their abilities!
Plus, underneath it all there's no doubt they'll always have love for each other.

She's finally returned!
Gwen Stefani may currently be famous for her high-profile divorce from Gavin Rossdale and multiple appearances on The Voice, but she's now ready to remind you that she actually used to be a music legend.
Way back in the mid-2000s, the No Doubt singer ruled the charts thanks to her never-ending cycle of hits — Rich Girl, Hollaback Girl, Wind It Up, etc., but she somehow lost her spark for more than an entire decade… and it seems a certain country crooner has reignited it!
That's because Gwen dropped what's easily her best single since 2006's The Sweet Escape on Thursday, and it's very obviously all about Blake Shelton!
Not only is Make Me Love You one of the catchiest songs we've heard so far this year, it's even giving us faith that her third studio album This is What the Truth Feels Like will actually be fun — sorry, Used To Love You fans…

You definitely don't want to fast forward through this commercial!
People confirmed that The Voice coach is collaborating with Target to produce the video for her song Make Me Like You, which will air live during a four-minute commercial break during the award show!
We guess the 46-year-old really enjoyed watching Grease: Live last month, because this live music video sounds pretty similar to the live broadcast!
The former No Doubt frontwoman couldn't be more excited about the television event, saying:
According to an Us Weekly source, Blake got Gwen to serve as a mentor to his team this upcoming season!
NBC execs Bob Greenblatt and Paul Telegdy were asked about the Used To Love You singer's return at the Television Critics Association's press tour, and though they played coy, they DID say Gwen could "maybe" return as a mentor this year…
Ah, Twitter politics.
To follow your ex on social media or not? To follow your boyfriend's ex or not? To follow your ex's girlfriend or not? It's all very confusing.
To catch you up on the Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, and Gwen Stefani social media triangle: Blake and Miranda follow each other, Miranda follows Gwen, Gwen doesn't follow Miranda, and Gwen follows Blake and her ex Gavin Rossdale.
BUT Gwen recently liked one of Mirandy's tweets. That's right, the No Doubt singer liked her boyfriend's ex-wife's post about her grandmother.
