Amazing!

Mary-Kate Olsen ditched the furs for a classic black ensemble at the Metropolitan Opera 125th anniversary gala in New York on Sunday night and looked absolutely gorgeous while doing so.

LOVE the hair and makeup!

This is the best we've ever seen Olsen look, in fact!!

For those of you who care, the Olsen twins' clothing line, Elizabeth and James, has rolled out its Spring 2009 collection online.

It falls short of spectacular.

And, a lot of the stuff seems soooooo overpriced for what it is!

We have a feeling that many of you have more important things to buy than a pair of $250 shorts.

Aww. She dressed up as an Ewok!

On Thursday, Mary-Kate Olsen gave PETA and other animal rights activists across the world another one-fingered salute.

She hit the Belvedere IX party in NY in some sort of animal fur.

What's the animal you're wearing, MK Troll?

Any guesses?

We bet she had a big steak dinner later that night to top things off!

Ashley Olsen was spotted holding hands with boyfriend Justin Bartha this past weekend in NYC.

The couple have been going strong for a few months now. That's like, forever in Hollyweird!

The usually private Mary-Kate Olsen showed off her "artist" boyfriend, Nate Lowman, at the Benjamin Cho fashion show in NYC back in September, a rare public outing for the duo.

And, just last month, the two were spotted sucking face at the Grace Jones performance in Miami Beach.

So it seems all is going well between the 22 year-old and her almost 30 year-old boyfriend.

In fact, In Touch Weekly is reporting things are so good, that MK went to meet Nate's family over the holidays.

The day after Christms, Olsen was spotted in Idyllwild, CA to meet her beau's parents.

An insider says, “Nate’s dad runs an art school there. They seem really happy together and Mary-Kate was so sweet. They are a great family that loves her. They are in a really serious relationship and she’s in a good place now with him.”

Will this "really serious" relationship result in marriage????

Well, we're glad to see that someone is benefiting from the recession.

In an elevator at Barneys (where all the celebs were yesterday!), Mary-Kate Olsen was reportedly overheard saying, "It's really sad - the recession is everywhere. But at least they are having good sales."

Gesturing to a new hat, she added, "That's where I got this! The recession!"

She must be doing some pretty wonderful drugs, right?
