Oprah's Final Show To Be Live From Stadium?

Possibly!
Oprah Winfrey hinted recently that her final show could be at Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears!
"I don't know if that's going to happen," she says. "You can never count on Chicago weather."
Soldier Field seats 61,500 and she's also hoping to find people from her first show ever to attend the final show.
Cool!

Lindsay Lohan Vs. The E*Trade Baby: The Latest Ridiculousness!
Lindsay Lohan is suing the E*trade Baby. Yes, that cute little guy you see directly above.
Okay, so technically she’s suing the company E*trade, but it’s still pretty crazy.
We’ll refer to her by her entire name, Lindsay Lohan, as we tell you this story, because apparently you can run into ALL TYPES of problems if you just use her first name.
Lindsay Lohan is suing E-trade because their commercial featured a “milkaholic” baby named Lindsay, which she felt was clearly a reference to her, and apparently her lawyer feels the same way.
E*trade argues that there are 250,000 women named Lindsay in the United States, and that Lindsay Lohan doesn’t have a trademark on her name, like Oprah, Cher, Madonna, or Beyonce.
Here’s what Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, has to say against E-trade’s argument. Get comfortable…this is a hefty read:
"As they say, 'What's in the name?' It is in the totality of circumstances that a particular name or person acquires popularity or notoriety. It is in (sic) totality of circumstances that a name or person becomes a distinguished name. Some names such as Bill, Hillary, Bush, Tiger, Paris, Johnny, Allen, are very common names. There may be millions, if not billions, of people with these names in the world. Some words may not necessarily be just the names for human beings but may convey other meanings also. For example, 'Tiger' is an animal and is associated with a jungle or zoo in a particular context. However, when used in the context of [the] Golf game world, it conveys (sic) totally different message."
And more babble from Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer:
"The issue, in (sic) case at bar, is not how many people in the USA are with the name 'Lindsay' or 'Lindsey'. The issue is how many celebrities are with this name 'Lindsay' in the USA, and then (sic) in the context, manner, characterization, persona…If Defendants take this name, 'Lindsay' in context of a celebrity name (sic) then by Defendants' own admission, there are only a few limited celebrities with this name around, and this number may not be more than four or five.'
Don’t worry about it if you skimmed this. We’re thinking the Court will probably do the same thing.
Who do U side with on this one?
Oprah Wants In On Fantasia Aftermath

Fantasia stole Paula Cook’s husband, and now Cook may steal the spotlight.
Paula Cook, the wife of Antwaun Cook, who has been seeing Fantasia extramaritally, is being approached for interviews on talk shows by Mo’Nique and….Oprah!
Here’s what a source had to say about it:
“Paula has been approached by Oprah’s people to go on her chat show. She still hasn’t decided what she will do though, and she was also approached by Mo’Nique too.”
More from the source on Paula’s feelings about Fantasia:
“Despite anything that Fantasia may say about Antwaun being separated from his wife when she started dating him, Paula firmly believes that she knowingly got involved with a married man.”
If that’s how she feels about it, she’d certainly get the opportunity to express that to a large audience if she decides to go on Oprah. Might be therapeutic for her…although we can only imagine how Fantasia would react to it.
Would U like to see Paula Cook go on Oprah?

Madonna Coming Soon….To VEGAS??

This could be incredible!!
First, it was Celine Dion, then Elton John and Cher, and now…
Madonna??
According to reports, Madonna has been offered $1 billion for a five-year residency in Las Vegas.
If she takes the deal, it would make her the world's third female billionaire entertainer, just behind Oprah.
We think it's unlikely that Madonna will sign the contract, especially since her reps are keeping quiet on the rumors, but we're secretly hoping it's true!!
If this actually happens, we'll be there opening night with bells and whistles on!

Does Oprah Discriminate??

That's what a former employee of Oprah Winfrey's new network OWN is claiming.
A former assistant is suing the talk show host's company, claiming that she worked in "a hostile work environment" because she suffers from Multiple Sclerosis.
Catherine Dunn says that when she worked as an assistant at OWN in August 2008, she was forced to take a stress leave, as well as a leave of absence when "her MS symptoms were exacerbated because of the workplace stress."
She claims that when she went on the forced stress leave, she was then replaced by a "non-disabled and younger employee." So, now she is suing for wrongful termination and seeks unspecified damages.
Hmm, yet another lawsuit for Oprah. Is the former employee telling the truth or just trying to cash in? What do U think?

Who's Making The Biggest Bucks On T.V.???

You know, we're in a recession. Folks just got to cut back.
Unless you're Charlie Sheen, in which case you can wipe your ass with money and still be able to pay the cable bill.
A list of the highest earning players on T.V. was released today and as you can imagine, most of these people make more in an hour of television than some people do in a year!
For instance, did you know that Mr. Sheen makes $1.25 million per episode of Two and A Half Men? Doesn't that make you just want to cut him on Christmas morning?
Did you know that Kate Gosselin makes $250,000 per episode of Kate Plus Eight. You can argue that sextuplets can't feed themselves, but in this case, we think your wrong. If she is making that kind of bank, imagine what the kids are getting?
Did you know that if you add together what Ellen DeGeneres, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel and Judge Judy make in a year that still isn't half of what Oprah Winfrey takes home?
How much exactly does she make? Brace yourself - $315 million a year!
That is INSANITY!
There are tons more actors who make tons more money, but we think we'll spare you the rest. You probably feel poor enough!

People Prefer To Read About Angel Food Cake

People are buying food magazines more than celeb mags? Is it because we’re getting our celeb-news fixes on the Internet? Hmmm???
Newsstand sales of O, the Oprah Magazine, have dropped 15.8 percent so far this year, while Every Day with Rachael Ray is down 23 percent from the previous year.
As for food magazines, Hearst’s upstart Food Network Magazine has sold 323,586 copies out of 1,399,894 in circulation.
So we need to as, do U prefer celeb-based or food magazines from newsstands?
Or do U just get all your info online?
