Before she leaves the White House Michelle Obama is issuing a call to arms to end gender equality — and is joining forces with some of the most influential women in the country to do so!
FLOTUS — along with A-list woman entertainers, activists, and business executives — has announced a White House summit for the United State of Women, which sets to tackle gender-equality issues later this month.
But the video is also full of powerful women in other industries — like designer and fashion exec Tory Burch, Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards, PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi, and more!
The June 14 summit will address issues like economic empowerment, health and wellness, educational opportunity, violence against women, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement.
Though the event is already maxed out, the entire summit will be livestreamed at the United State of Women's website!

In the newly released clip from the icon's SuperSoul Sessions, the Scandal starlet revealed former "toxicity" in her life and how she got rid of it all!
The 39-year-old dished:
"There was a period before Scandal when I went into the wilderness. There was a lot of toxicity in my life, people I needed to let go of in a personal way, in a business way. And, also, I felt like I had been living my career kind of on auto-pilot. I took a break and did a Broadway play. I went back to my roots as an artist."

McCartney revealed to Wilson that All Day — the hugely popular track on Kanye West's The Life Of Pablo — nearly never made it to the public after the rock star was advised by Oprah Winfrey, of all people, NOT to work with Yeezy!
Oprah had gotten on Paul's case because, as he tells it, she didn't approve of 'Ye's use of the 'n-word,' and she strongly angled McCartney not to collaborate with the rapper.
