Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool opened this weekend and had no trouble SLAYING its competition!
While the Merc with a Mouth was up against both Zoolander 2 and How to Be Single, the Marvel hero basically embarrassed the hell out of the other flicks as it ended up taking in $135 MILLION this weekend!
Not only that, but the raunchy hero movie is estimated to take in a total of $150 million over the four-day holiday weekend.
That's absolutely AH-Mazing seeing as how FOX's earliest predictions had the comic book flick pulling in somewhere around $65 mil.
If that's not enough, Deadpool also set a TON of records as it became the biggest February opening weekend ever and destroyed Fifty Shades of Grey's previous President's Day weekend record for $85.2 million over three days and $93 million over four.
The anti-hero broke several other records in the process, including:
Talk about a small world!
As we previously reported, a decent amount of Hollywood's A-listers made it out to San Francisco over the weekend to celebrate the Super Bowl. So we shouldn't be so surprised that Kate Hudson ran into not one, but TWO of her former flames!
An insider revealed that the Scream Queens actor made his way over to the Kung Fu Panda 3 star around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday. The eyewitness noted:
For the first two Kung Fu Panda movies, we believed that Jack Black's character Po was the last surviving Panda.
But we were wrong! The third installment of the hit animated franchise follows the clumsy bear protagonist after he has a chance run in with his estranged biological father Li, voiced by Bryan Cranston!
Li brings Po back to a secret panda village where the population has been in hiding, where meets a bunch of brand new characters — including an aspiring ribbon dancer panda Mei Mei voiced by the very funny Rebel Wilson!
Black explains that being reunited with his kind will be a bit of a shock for the character, but there is a lot of fun we can expect from the bear bunch! He said:
This is insane!
The basketball player formerly known as Ron Artest already dropped jaws when he changed his name to Metta World Peace while playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.
But now, he’s changing it again!
The 34-year-old is going overseas to play for the Sichuan Blue Whales in China, so he’s changing his name to The Pandas Friend.
Yes, you read that right.
