Wow! It's crazy how much this changes the complete tone of the song!

Apparently, long before B.o.B. recorded his now-hit track, Airplanes, with Hayley Williams of Paramore and Eminem, his labelmate, Lupe Fiasco, was offered the song, and even recorded his own verses before ultimately passing on it!

Luckily, his version has leaked, and you can listen to it (above)!

Inneresting! There's obviously a lot more energy on the B.o.B. version…but there's something about the mood of this one, a sadness that keeps us hitting the re-play button over and over again!

It would been very cool to hear a finalized version of this on Lasers!

Paramore's Hayley Williams added some color to the Grammy red carpet on Sunday with her fiery red hair and Jeremy Scott dress.

It's a cute ensemble, but the pink and the red are clashing a little too much for us.

After quite a bit of controversy surrounding brothers Josh and Zac Farro's exit from Paramore, it looks like at least one of the Farro Bros is ready to move on!

Here's what Josh Farro had to say about his new band, Novel American:

"Basically, I met these guys in high school — they're a little older than me, and that's a big deal when you're in high school, they were always in the cool crowd — but we connected after high school, and we got together after the whole Paramore thing, and I was like, 'I don't know if I want to be in another band, but I called the guys, we got together, we wrote and we jammed, and it was great, so we decided, 'Let's do another band.' And, honestly, I had some ideas that just didn't fit with Paramore, and I said, 'Guys, we can try these,' and they just loved them, and so that's really how it all started."

Farro's new band members are Van Beasley, Tyler Ward, and Ryan Clark. Farro will play guitar for Novel American.

More from Farro:

"My wife came up with the band name, because we were going through quite a long list — it got to the point where it was consuming our minds, because it was exciting — and she was like, 'What about Novel American?' … Because the definition means 'Of a new kind, or something that hasn't been seen or heard before.' And I think that kind of describes us. We want to be a new breath of fresh air to the music scene. We all love Jimmy Eat World, so it's hard not to sound like them, but there's a little of everything in there. We're huge fans of Radiohead, Sigur Rós, Explosions in the Sky … there's everything in there, really."

And more from Farro:

"[Paramore fans] just don't want this to be some dragged-out drama-fest. They just want to move on. I watched [MTV News' 'Paramore: The Last Word' interview], and, you know, I think we just disagree on a lot of things, and that's OK. I don't think it's wrong to disagree with someone, so, um, yeah, I just wish them the best in the future, and I really don't want to make it this huge drama thing, because then it becomes this huge war, and I don't want to dwell on that. I'm more excited about the future and this new band and that sort of thing."

AND more:

"I think 'liberating' is a great description of how I've felt over the past month. Coming from Paramore, I didn't think that I would want to be in a band or want to have anything to do with it, and so, when I actually found that passion and love for music again, I was like, 'Wow, this is great. We felt like we were in high school, we were all so giddy, and we still are, because everything is falling in place perfectly, and that first practice was great, and from then on, we've just been on cloud nine."

We're happy for you, Josh. Sounds like this is a really great move for you! We want to hear some new music from you guys ASAP!

After news broke that Paramore members Josh and Zac Farro quit the group, the brothers released a statement basically tearing into lead singer Haley Williams, and claimed that they were manufactured by their label and controlled by her parents!

Now, in an interview with MTV News, the remaining members of the band are responding to the allegations, set to air this Friday at 4pm EST!

Sounds like they're taking the high road! Impressive!

But we hope that they address at least SOME of the controversy!

Last week, we were kind of shocked to hear about guitarist Josh Farro and drummer Zac Farro's exit from Paramore.

Now, they've released an official exit statement on Josh's blog.

Here are some excerpts, highlighting Josh and Zac's issues with the band:

- I had a statement typed ready to post to you guys but Hayley released one without my permission.

- We didn’t understand why Hayley was the only one signing the contract since we were told this was a “band”, but we were too young to grasp all of this.

- The label received the rerecorded demos and once again tried to fire the entire band, saying we were terrible.

- All the while we still questioned whether or not we were an actual band, but Hayley continued to insist we were, despite our being ignored and pushed around by the label.

- We’ve always been treated as less important than Hayley.

- In reality, what started as natural somehow morphed into a manufactured product of a major label, riding on the coattails of “Hayley’s dream.”

- We truly feel that God is leading us elsewhere and is going to do great things with us.

Wow, this is unfortunate.

Guitarist Josh Farro and his brother, drummer Zac Farro, have left Paramore.

The band posted this announcement on their official website on Saturday:

"A couple of months ago, Josh and Zac let us know they would be leaving the band after our show in Orlando last Sunday [December 12, at the House Of Blues venue]. None of us were really shocked. For the last year it hasn't seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore.

We want Josh and Zac to do something that makes them happy and if that isn't here with us, then we support them finding happiness elsewhere."

Members Hayley Williams, Jeremy Davis, and Taylor York remain in the band and explained that they will not be splitting up. "We never for a second thought about leaving any of this behind," they wrote. "We really hope that you can be encouraged by the fact that the three of us who are still here are ready to take on another chapter of our journey together."

The band still continues to tour South America in February and March 2011.

Wowsa. They're not even sugar-coating things. Inneresting.
