They should change the name of the show to AWKWARD! With Kelly and Michael!

What a ratings boom! A little too late though…
Simon Cowell, Barack Obama, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, and a whole host of others showed up for the series finale of American Idol on Thursday night, and that star power helped ensure a LOT of people watched the last episode ever of the impactful show!
While last season's finale was an all-time low for the music competition show, the star-studded appearances — and let's be honest, the idea that this was the last Idol ep EVER — ensured that last night's finale was up 76% in the 18-49 demographic, and up 61% in total viewers from the week before!!
In total, the show drew 12.94 million people in to watch the two-hour finale, which was the best ratings for a finale that Idol has gotten in three years.
It appears viewers didn't forget that nostalgia, either — and sent Idol off into the sunset the right way!
Did U watch last night?! What'd U think of the finale??
Thursday night's American Idol series finale had EVERYTHING we could have ever hoped for!
While there were so many great moments from the epic sendoff, one of our favorites HAD to be Simon Cowell making a surprise appearance and reuniting with his former fellow judges Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson — and of course host Ryan Seacrest!
What made this so special was Cowell, who often has nothing but harsh things to say, got a bit misty as he reflected on all the fun memories of working on the show. Simon even admitted he was a bit emotional as he said:
That's because in addition to the news that Kelly Clarkson, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson will be stopping by to say goodbye to iconic reality show, original co-host Brian Dunkleman and She Bangs singer William Hung will also be making farewell appearances!
We wonder if Ryan Seacrest is going to be jealous he has to share the spotlight again? LOLz!!!
Oh — and in case you still cared, the final three contestants vying for the crown are La'Porsha Renae, Dalton Rapattoni, and Trent Harmon.
Make sure to catch American Idol say goodbye to 15 seasons this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night on FOX!
It's the end of an era.
That's because the guest list for the three-part series finale was announced on Friday and they've put together quite the group!
As of now, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson will be reuniting for a behind-the-scenes special airing Tuesday, April 5, before Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, Ryan Seacrest, and Harry Connick, Jr. take back the reigns for the final performance show on Wednesday, April 6.
But they saved the best for last, because Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler, Scotty McCreery, Josh Gracin, Lauren Alaina, Bucky Covington, Danny Gokey, and more surprise guests from Idol's past will be lending their talents for the very last episode of the singing competition!
You can catch Kellie, Carrie, Kelly, and the rest when American Idol bows out Thursday, April 7 at 8 p.m. EST on FOX!

We hope this is more MasterChef Junior and less American Juniors…
FOX has a habit of taking something good and completely ruining it to the point where it's unwatchable, and it looks like So You Think You Can Dance is the network's latest casualty.
So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation will be kids only.
Starting May 30, contestants ages 8-13 will compete to become America's favorite dancer where the Top 10 finalists will be paired with an All-Star "mentor" to help them through the competition.
It'll be nice to see some of our favorites return, but unless they manage to find the next Maddie Ziegler, we have a feeling this whole season is going to be a miss.
Are U at all interested in seeing Cat Deeley interact with children on a weekly basis??

We wouldn't want it any other way!
Though we're sad to see it go after what will be 15 seasons on the air, we're definitely excited about the news Ryan Seacrest just dropped!
Seacrest told Access Hollywood
It's no surprise that John Stamos is quite the ladies man — no other actor can rival his portrayal of a sexy GILF (grandfather we'd like to f*ck) on his new comedy Grandfathered!
During a round of Plead The Fifth, the 52-year-old was probed by questions about his love life — including his past relationship with Paula Abdul and his all time record for giving women orgasms!
Find out which question Stamos pleads the fifth for in the video (below)!
