She got a taste of the solo spotlight again recently, and she realized how much she missed it!

Paula Abdul is not content to just release a song on American Idol judge Randy Jackson's upcoming compilation.

She wants more!

The Straight Up singer, who hasn't released an album in over a ten years, has announced on her official website that she's working on a new CD.

"New Paula Abdul album coming summer 2008," the site promises.

If she does it right, it has the potential to not suck.

We're looking forward to it!

Less pills. More music.

Paula Abdul is definitely performing her new song, which we really like, at the Super Bowl next weekend. And, wisely, her big comeback will be pre-taped!

This is surprising!

Paula Abdul is not planning a musical comeback, but she did do a one-off song for her fellow American Idol judge Randy Jackson's new album.

And it's good!!!!! It's actually really good.

Shocking, right?

Sure, the vocals are manipulated beyond belief, but so are Britney's!

The song sounds like something that should have been on Spears' last album or Janet's new one.

It's called Dance Like There's No Tomorrow. It premiered on Seacrets's radio show, and it is bound to go to #1 for Abdul and Jackson on the club play charts.

They may even play this on the radio! It should be played. It's better than a lot of the crap on radio right now.

P.S. This is the song Paula is supposed to perform at the Super Bowl. THAT is still a bad idea!

The Super Bowl is being shown on Fox this year. Paula stars on Fox's highly successful American Idol. Abdul is doing a duet with fellow Idol judge Randy Jackson for his new CD. Voila.

Is Fox stupid enough to let this happen??????

She hasn't released an album in over a decade, but Paula Abdul will forever be our pill-popping girl!

Heaven help us all!

Paula Abdul has a new boyfriend - bless his heart - and she is now announcing that she wants to have kids.

Of having babies, the crazy Abdul says, "That's the next step in my life. Definitely within the next two years. I thought by now I'd have three grown children."

The American Idol judge is 45.

She says she plans to explore fertility options, which she'll need. "With modern medicine, people are having kids in their 40s and even up until their late 40s," says Paula. "In their 50s, they're having their second child. If it doesn't happen naturally like that, I would always consider adopting."

Just what the world needs, mini-Paulas running around!
