The National Rifle Association (NRA) sponsored TV show Under Wild Skies has been canceled!
The show came under fire after it showed an elephant being shot to death and its host, Tony Makris' awful commentary.
He said things like he killed the elephant "in its bedroom" and that it was "cheeky" when it tried to escape death, only to be shot.
Animal lovers everywhere have obviously been calling for the show's cancelation for a while now.
Thankfully, it was the host's own dumb words that got the show pulled from the air.
Speaking about his critics, Tony said:
We previously mentioned that PETA wasn't too happy with Katy Perry's animal filled music video.
She recently dropped the video for her new song Roar and in it, and there are several animal actors.
PETA's Merrilee Burke was upset, saying things like:
"What you may not know — as most people do not — is that animals used for entertainment in film and television endure horrific cruelty and suffer from extreme confinement and violent training methods."
But as we already knew, Katy is a HUGE animal lover and so of course she wouldn't do anything to endanger or overly stress an animal!
So she fired back in a letter from the American Humane Association, saying:
PETA has seen Katy Perry's Roar and they did NOT like what they saw!
Earlier this month, the seksi singer released the official music video for her hit single, and it featured tons of animals from tigers to tarantulas to elephants as she makes her transformation into Jane Goodall!
However, PETA spokeswoman Merrilee Burke criticized the use of animal actors in the music video and said they are often forced to live in terrible conditions:
Now this is what we call a cat fight!!
Two heavy-hitters in fashion, Numero Russia's André Leon Talley and Def Jam’s Russell Simmons are NOT seeing eye-to-eye, not one bit!
Everything started when Simmons parodied iconic freedom fighter Harriet Tubman in a sex tape for what was meant to be a comedic post on All Def Digital.
As you can imagine, the video was more offensive than humorous, to the extent that André told theGrio last week:

Krysten Ritter is smart, sexy and loves animals, which makes her just about perfect in our book!
She recently did a photo shoot with PETA to raise awareness of dogs parked in cars on hot summer days.
In the ad (above) she is casting an angel wing shadow because she smashed open a car window to save a dog that was trapped inside.
Aside from the fact that the hole in that window is jagged as hell and too small to safely pull that dog through, we get the message.
DON'T LEAVE DOGS LOCKED IN HOT CARS!
It's really that simple.
A dog can suffer heatstroke and die in as little as 15 minutes on a hot day when trapped in a car! So take your dog with you into the store or leave them at home!!
Check out a behind the scenes video of Krysten's photo shoot AFTER THE JUMP!!
A warning to all women who are pregnant and expecting baby boys: Whatever you do, do NOT eat chicken wings!
At least that's what PETA is saying!
Associate Director of Campaigns, Lindsay Rajt, recently reached out to Drew Cerza, the founder of the National Buffalo Festival that took place this weekend, with an open letter posted to the organization's website.
But instead of focusing on the unethical treatment of chickens, she turned the attention on pregnant women and their unborn sons. The letter reads:
Adriana De Moura, star of Real Housewives Of Miami, is a gorgeous, compassionate woman.
So of course it makes perfect sense that she'd take off all of her clothes, and share her body with the world, to bring awareness to a great cause!
She got butt ass naked and hopped in a bathtub for PETA, in support of their fight to release a whale, named Lolita who is an orca at the Miami Seaguarium. She has been stuck in a
