Drake recently confessed (again) his yearning for the chance to place the role of President Obama.
The rapper/actor had already expressed interest in playing the POTUS before and now he admits to studying his speeches and vocal inflections!
Drake said the following about his dream role:
“I hope somebody makes a movie about Obama’s life soon because I could play him. That’s the goal. I watch all the addresses. Anytime I see him on TV, I don’t change the channel, I definitely pay attention and listen to the inflections of his voice. If you ask anyone who knows me, I’m pretty good at impressions.
And when we tell you there was literally NOTHING else on to watch. Almost every network cancelled their programming for the evening to make way for the President's address … and STILL he couldn't get the numbers he needed.
That's a whomp, whomp situation right there!
Though down 12% from last year (and 21% from his first year), President Barack Obama's State Of The Union address nabbed 37.75 million viewers. Most people watching the telecast on cable flocked to Fox News (3.8 million), while MSNBC and CNN garnered about a million less eyeballs (2.8 and 2.7 million, respectfully)
But hey, if things work out the way we want them to, there's always NEXT year! (Fingers crossed)
Did U watch the State of The Union address? What did U think? (In case you missed it, you can watch it above)
We're gonna have to go with Obama on this one. We have NOT been impressed with the Arizona Governor as of late!
Yesterday, Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer met with President Barack Obama on an airport tarmac outside Phoenix, and we're hearing that things got pret-ty heated between the two!
When asked about the intense conversation later on, Brewer had the following to say:
Last night, Fox was #1 in the ratings AGAIN thanks to an American Idol repeat, which landed 9.5 million total viewers and a 3.3 rating in the adults 18-49 demo. Impressive!
As for the State of the Union Address, it brought in 5.3 million viewers and a 1.9 for Fox.
Oh wow. Okay, um, yeah, so Newt Gingrich won the South Carolina primary in what is becoming a relentless journey to the GOP nomination. Kinda shocking, but whatever.
Soon after polls closed on Saturday, Newt was declared the winner with Mittens tailing in second place and Santorum and Paul falling far behind.
In Newt's victory speech, he told his minions the crowd:
"Thank you to everyone in South Carolina who decided to be with us in changing Washington. We are optimists about the future.
President Obama is a president so weak that he makes Jimmy Carter look strong."
The Luxor headlining illusionist was recorded having quite the verbal altercation with Joe Monti, one of his magic producers on Wednesday, during which Angel is heard threatening to knock him out - and now he's had a police report filed against him!
Give it a listen (above)!
Furthermore, Monti later said to authorities that he recorded the meeting because Angel has a history of bullying employees!
He explains:
“I wanted him to know how demeaning he was. I created 50-60 percent of the magic for ‘Mindfreak.' I have no reason to do anything vindictively but I draw the line on violence.”
