We're told that it has nothing to do with drugs and alcohol, though, which leads to speculation as to why it's really happening!

What has been said, however, is this:

"She's cleansing herself to get ready for a new movie."

Not really sure what that means or what kind of treatment is involved, but we do know that she checked in about 10 days ago, regardless of gettin' down with Prince on stage recently. Apparently she can go out in public if she has a monitor with her at all times.

For whatever reason, for whatever treatment, for however long, we hope that it works and is really beneficial to you, Whitney!

We'd LOVE to see you get back on top of your game in 2011. The world has been primed for a Houston come back for AGES now!!

UPDATE: Whitney's publicist has released the following statement to PerezHilton.com:

"I can confirm that Whitney Houston is currently in an out-patient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment. Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process."

Prince has been rocking it out in LA for a few weeks now, and has been totally slaying shows left and right — because he's freaking Prince!!

The best part about it all and his extended stay is that people who might not normally get to see him have a bunch of opportunities to, and that includes some busy celebs!

He's been known to pull up certain celebrities in the audience to dance with him on stage, like, Christina Milian. Last night, however, he pulled up a whopper of a guest — Whitney Houston!

We bet that was awesome!

It's a Mega Celebrity Prince Dance Riot! Look at all the famous faces!

There were a lot of celebrities in the house Saturday night when Prince performed at The Forum in El Lay.

As he's been doing rather frequently, he pulled a few peeps on stage to dance the show out with him. Except this time, it looks like he brought up the entire VIP SECTION! WOO!

Let's see who we've got here! We can definitely see Kirstie Alley shakin' her groove thang with her Dancing partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Gavin Rossdale with his wifey, Gwen Stefani.

How many other celebs do you see?

Good!

We brought up recently that Prince was having a mortgage issue with some property he owns, and that it was in jeopardy of being foreclosed and auctioned off!

Well we now can all rest easy, because he has paid off his mortgage bill in full!

He had actually moved to pay it four or five days ago, and everything is now in the clear!

Prince! You ROCKED El Lay last night! We're glad we got to see you, and we're glad you don't have these mortgage worries anymore!

Bummer, Prince!

In Chanhassen, Prince's one time home and 20 acres of land is in foreclosure, and it'll be auctioned off really soon unless he pays off the $386k he owes on the mortgage!

The auction is set for May 13th, but the singer still has time to reclaim it if he pays the debts. There is no word on whether or not he will, or just let it go to auction.

Here's a small bit about the property:

The land, where Prince had a home until it was razed in late 2005, is valued at $1.15 million, according to county records. That's down from more than $1.5 million just a year earlier. Prince bought the property in 1994 for $605,000.

An undated aerial photo of the property on the Carver County property information web page shows little more than a tennis court and a small building near the driveway entrance on Galpin Boulevard.

Prince, we hope the tour is going well! Isn't there a little extra scratch from that? Maybe a bit of it that could go towards settling debts so you don't have to lose property??

Last week on George Lopez Tonight, Prince made the exciting announcement that he'd be starting a 21-night residency at The Forum in El Lay!!!!

Now, his residency has begun, and during last night's performance (above), he brought Eva Longoria up to the stage…and this time he didn't kick her off. Ha!

What do U think of Prince and Eva's dancing skillz? Impressed?

And they have great taste in music!

Last night, Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz were at Prince's concert at The Forum in El Lay, along with Eduardo's sister, Penelope Cruz and hubby Javier Bardem!

A double-date! How sweet! It's nice that you all get on so well!

Prince has announced that he is bringing back his Welcome 2 America Live tour back to Los Angeles for three nights only, this week and next, at the Los Angeles Forum. The "21 Nite Stand" event is an excellent chance to see the musical legend in all his glory, along with some surprise guest performers who will undoubtedly show up.

Tickets are on sale NOW (at very reasonable prices we might add) and the shows are slated for April 14, 21 and 22.
