"Plus-size" is a controversial term for people and models alike!
Tyra Banks wants to ban the term, model Robyn Lawley agrees, and now even more celebs are speaking out about the matter!
For instance, designer Isaac Mizrahi and David Hasselhoff’s model daughter Hayley were recently interviewed separately on the topic.
When Isaac was asked if Project Runway will ever feature contestants who design for “plus-sizes”, he thought it was a great idea!
He also added:
"I don't want to speak to a plus-sized woman differently than I speak to a woman. I don't like segregation, I like incorporation, I like integration. If you're going to do clothes, you need to do them in a whole size range."
Then from the model’s perspective, Hayley Hasselhoff had some news for people who claim “plus-size” models glamorize obesity.
Project Runway is one of the most intense design competitions on television!!
And that’s partially due to Tim Gunn’s slightly intimidating yet extremely effective hosting methods.
Luckily for us, one of the show’s stellar contestants, Natalia Fedner, recently gave CocoPerez.com some EXCLUSIVE details about what it’s like to be on the show!
Natalia has the added insight of being one of Tim’s students at Parsons The New School for Design — the college he taught at before his gig on Project Runway.
Find out how Mr. Gunn has changed over the years, and scoop yourself up some other exclusive fashion design info, by reading what Natalia had to say…AFTER THE JUMP!!!
Project Runway’s Tim Gunn is both openly gay and a staunch supporter of the LGBT community.
Which is why MANY were surprised when he recently admitted he’s against the use of transgender models in the fashion industry!
What the whaaaa??
He doesn’t even think Barneys’ spring campaign, which stars 17 transgender models, was all that progressive!!
Why? In his opinion,
Beyoncé WERKED the Grammys like the Queen she is this year — both on stage and off!
And even though we unfortunately didn’t get to to see her on the red carpet before the show (since she was first to perform), the sheer white gown she rocked throughout the rest of the event did NOT go unnoticed!
The dress was designed by Project Runway's Michael Costello, and he recently dished on all the hard work he put into the seksi ensem!
Those who have dreamed of dressing exactly like Heidi Klum can rejoice!
The German supermodel recently donated some of her faboosh wardrobe in order to benefit amfAR, a great organization that works with HIV/AIDS patients around the world.
The coveted pieces are on sale now at e-commerce site Fashion Project, but we’re guessing you’re going to have to act fast!
Especially if you’re looking to grab the sparkling bronze Max Azria stunner that she wore to the Project Runway finale during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
We’re so obsessed!
So not only is Heidi hawt, but she’s super charitable, too! A winning duo.
Check out Heidi's faboosh style in the gallery (below)!

If Alyssa Milano's goal was to stand out at the Project Runway All Stars season 3 premiere last night, mission accomplished!
The show's brand new hostess arrived at the Hudson Hotel in New York City wearing a bold Peter Pilotto number that featured a graphic-print and colorblock detail.
Unfortunately, the dress overwhelmed Alyssa's 5'2" frame and her closed-toe Stella McCartney pumps only made things worse!
Imagine if she had it tailored to hit right at her knees or chose black sandals instead.
But as the saying goes, "if ifs and buts were candy and nuts we'd all be on the best dressed list"!
What do U think???

"I think she needs to own her age and enjoy it and not feel like she has to dress like a 50-year-old woman acting like a cougar."
