In a very confessional interview with The New York Times out on Thursday, the Django Unchained director declares:

"Everyone who was close to Harvey had heard of at least one of those incidents. It was impossible they didn't."

As for himself, he addresses a few of the incidents involving well-known actresses, including the fact Harvey had reached a settlement with Rose McGowan over her alleged rape way back in 1997.

In a joint statement with producing partner Reid Carolin, Tatum said they would no longer be developing their "lone project" in development with TWC, which ironically is a story about a young boy who suffers sexual abuse.

While acknowledging the project, an adaptation of Matthew Quick's book Forgive Me Leonard Peacock, is a "powerful message of healing," Tatum noted that he and Carolin were happy to seize the "giant opportunity for real positive change" following the outpouring of accusers coming forward against Weinstein.

For the record, Debra Tate DOES think Jennifer Lawrence is pretty…

Just not Sharon Tate pretty!

The late model's sister was blasted on social media after deeming Lawrence not attractive enough to play Sharon in Quentin Tarantino's upcoming movie about the Charles Manson murders. Deborah tried to do some damage control with J.Law fans in a new video on TMZ, but still made it clear she doesn't think the Hunger Games star is the best fit to play her sis.

While Margot Robbie — who is heavily speculated to be playing Sharon — was her first pick to play her sister, Debra says there might be another actress out there who would make an even better choice.

Since Debra controls the rights to Sharon's likeness, she certainly has a right to discuss her sister's portrayal. Still, there's a difference between being picky and just plain difficult.

Maybe the director should just return this woman's phone calls already?

It was rumored Jennifer Lawrence would be starring, though no official word has come in on whether she would snag the role of Sharon Tate… or her killer Susan Atkins (it's heavily speculated to be Atkins as Margot Robbie is currently the best bet for Tate).
