Quick Tip of the Day News Archive
Leather can be intimidating. It's certainly not for the faint of heart!
However, there are ways to wear it without feeling like a dominatrix or a member of Hell's Angels.
Check out some tips from style maven Christina Pombo on how to do leather right:
"A must-have for your New Year wardrobe is leather! If you’re not used to this sleek and sexy look, I would recommend starting with a leather jacket. Over a flirty dress or with your skinny jeans and a tee you can’t go wrong. Then get your sexy back by moving towards leather pants or shorts. But keep it classy, ladies! Pair it with a sophisticated top much like Kim Kardashian and Eva Longoria."
So the next time you want to spice up your wardrobe, remember these tips from Christina, and rock that leather, baby!

As a woman who loves all things glamour and fashion, I have always loved dressing up! One of the trends that I envy is the pin-up girl look. Who doesn’t want to get all Dita Von Teese’d out? Except I usually feel more sham than glam in this look so I enlisted the help of some fabulous friends to compose some tips for achieving the pin up look without looking like you’re ready for Halloween.
Tip 1: Curl Power
Michelline Pitt, stylist & pin up guru, suggests soft curls instead of the typical victory rolls we all envision when we think of pin up. "Often girls go for victory rolls and that was not a common hair style worn during the era. Luscious curls that shape your face, giving you that perfect Hollywood glam look."

Hi CocoPerezers!! Today I want to discuss the importance of both closet staples and trendy pieces.
First off, you CANNOT have a functioning wardrobe without a few key items- black dress pants, white tailored button down shirt, dark denim, white denim, camisoles, nude thongs, and shoes. Many many shoes in black & nude in different heel heights. Ok, maybe you don't need thousands of shoes, but the more the merrier!
Once you have your foundation of fashion, you may now add color and accessories. Let's use the neon trend for example: If you want to wear your button down and dark denim, add a neon pink skinny belt, a few gold bangles, and gold hoops to really make the outfit stand out. You'll look classy and rich and everything you want to be when you see your fav celeb. Don't we all strive to look like a celeb??
Anyhoo, make sure your use of the trend is MINIMAL and please don't wear more than two trends at once!
Hello gorgeous fashion babies! I have some really important info for you regarding the use of patterns and prints and how to wear them together without looking like a crazy lady on the street.
We are so very blessed to be living in a time where it is not only acceptable, but COOL to mix and match different prints and patterns.
One of the main rules is to make sure the pieces you are mixing either COMPLIMENT each other OR are in the same color family as each other aka monochromatic. This means you put a printed pink tone top with a patterned fuchsia bottom. You don't want them to clash, so if you're worried about it, try wearing a printed dress with a different pattern bracelet or a less-extreme combo until you feel fully confident in your mixing and matching abilities! Just have fun, and remember that CONFIDENCE is what really sells your outfit.
Sleep is an essential ingredient in looking and feeling your best. A minimum of nine hours of sleep each night should be your goal. Between hour eight and nine is when your body is rebuilding muscle so it is a crucial hour to be sleeping. When you are well rested it will also show on your face with a refreshed look, and your skin, hair and nails will look fabulous too. If you have trouble falling asleep, don't watch TV or work on your computer just before bed. Studies show it is best to have an electronic curfew an hour before bed or else the light exposure before you try and fall asleep can throw off your body's rhythms and suppress the release of melatonin, which is the hormone that is vital to a good night's sleep.
