There's no question this must be excruciatingly difficult on the entire family.

Renee Zellweger is talking honestly about aging and sexism in Hollywood.
Renée Zellweger famously packed on 30 pounds to play the titular character in the first two Bridget Jones movies over 10 years ago.
But those who watched the trailers for Bridget Jones's Baby may have noticed the beloved character has slimmed way down!
Some fans might assume the actress wasn't game to pack on the pounds for a third time, but Zellweger revealed it wasn't her idea to stay lean for the upcoming comedy.
In a new interview, the 47-year-old said she was more than ready to once again put on weight to play the iconic heroine, but director Sharon Maguire talked her out of it.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, she said:
Patrick Dempsey certainly has our attention!
The Grey's Anatomy alum really gave the Outback something to wake up to when he accidentally talked about erections on Australia's Today show!
When appearing on Sunday morning's show with Bridget Jones's Baby costar Renée Zellweger, the actors tried out their best Aussie accents.
After Zellweger gave it her best go, Dempsey tried to one up his costar and attempt to bust out some Australian slang — but things were apparently a bit lost in translation when he said on air:
Talk about awkward!
While the two men talked on a WIDE range of subjects, one of our favorite moments of the night had to be when Andy started quizzing the Brit on some of his former female costars — including Renee Zellweger, Sarah Jessica Parker, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Drew Barrymore, and Julianne Moore!
During the segment, the late night host asked Hugh a series of questions about his former on-screen loves and the actor made a MAJOR mistake by
Renee Zellweger is speaking out!
It's been almost two years since her appearance at Elle's 21st annual Women in Hollywood Awards had everyone in the world taking a collective gasp.
In case you don't remember, the blonde walked the red carpet looking COMPLETELY unrecognizable, which sparked a lot of plastic surgery rumors.
And while Miz Zellweger was quick to address the gossip back in 2014, she's still speaking about it today!
On Friday, Huffington Post published a powerful op-ed by the actress, titled We Can Do Better, in which she slammed society's constant surgery speculation!
The gorgeous gal admitted she was writing to reclaim "the truths of my life," saying:
You can always count on Rose McGowan to speak her mind!
On Wednesday, Rose took to the Hollywood Reporter to voice her opinion on a recent essay criticizing Renee Zellweger's looks. The piece in question, which was written by a MAN, essentially asked whether or not Renee is the same actress she was years ago considering the recent changes in her face.
Yep, we can't make this sh*t up.
Luckily for women everywhere, feminist watchdog McGowan decided to pen a flawless response to the offending writer and let's just say she killed it. From calling out those who "viciously" take part in the hurtful double standards to using examples from her own past struggles with misogyny to illustrate her point, this essay is a must-read for EVERYONE.
In the actress' scathing opening paragraph, she writes:
"Owen Gleiberman, this is not a counterpoint. There is no counterpoint, there is no defense for the indefensible. Renee Zellweger is a human being, with feelings, with a life, with love and with triumphs and struggles, just like the rest of us. How dare you use her as a punching bag in your mistaken attempt to make a mark at your new job. How dare you bully a woman who has done nothing but try to entertain people like you. Her crime, according to you, is growing older in a way you don't approve of. Who are you to approve of anything?"
Dayum! The outspoken gal really summed it up best when she argued that there's "no defense for the indefensible"!
Deeper in the essay, the Charmed alum recalled disturbing memories of her time in Hollywood which more than explains why she's particularly sensitive about this issue:
While the first two Bridget Jones movies had their fair share of raunchy comedy, the third film of the franchise definitely seems the most filthy… and we LOVE it!
The second trailer for Bridget Jones's Baby dropped on Tuesday, and for this second trimester of marketing, Universal is definitely pushing the love triangle angle of it all.
Plus, who doesn't love a tasteful gay joke to close out a video?? LOLz!
This is gonna be one mother of a movie!
Ch-ch-check out the second trailer for Bridget Jones's Baby (above)!!!
