Guess it was only time!
They revealed in a statement:

Well, this cover surely gives unrealistic body standards to vigilantes!
Ben Affleck may be playing an older version of Bruce Wayne, but Batman looks more like the Hulk on the new cover of Empire magazine for the upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!
Standing next to a just as serious looking Henry Cavill, the dark knight looks much more
photoshopped buff and badass than Superman!
Director Zack Snyder explains that Batman has a "gravitas" that perpetuates his solemn demeanor. As for Superman, Cavill explains this film will pick up during a tough time for the superhero:
Superman will see you now!
Though no official announcement has been made yet, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star hinted that the rumors might be true in a recent interview!
While sitting down with his Man From U.N.C.L.E. co-star Armie Hammer, the 32-year-old was asked if there was any truth to the rumors of his speculated role.
Check out the British actor's vague response in the clip (below):
The first time we ever got a look at Ben Affleck in his Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, we knew he would give a whole new meaning to Dark Knight.
But ever since he and Jennifer Garner announced they were divorcing, he's been a sadder Batman than ever.
Even at Comic-Con, Ben didn't look too happy to be in public.
But who looked sadder? Batfleck or all the fans in Sad Batman costumes??
Ch-ch-check 'em out and decide for yourself (below)!
Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice is going to be one of the biggest things at Comic-Con this year, but who can wait another week??
There's also a great full-color look at Gal Gadot in her Wonder Woman costume! Gurl has legs for days AND a sword! LOVE!

Sometimes you can't get out of work!
Well apparently this isn't stopping Affleck from heading down to Comic-Con to help promote next year's sure-to-be blockbuster. Affleck will be starring as Batman opposite Henry Cavill as Superman in the flick and both are scheduled to appear along with Gal Gadot and director Zack Snyder to help promote their film, which is due out March 25, 2016.
This might be shocking as most people would think
He sure is super!
Henry Cavill may already have a superhero franchise under his belt, but he's about to add action spy to his impressive resumé.
That's because the hottie is about to star in the film reboot of the classic Spy-Fi TV series, The Man From U.N.C.L.E.!
Henry will be joined by Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander, Hugh Grant, and Elizabeth Debicki, and from the looks of the trailer, we're thinking it's going to be the perfect blend of James Bond meets Melissa McCarthy's Spy.
We're hearing it's supposed to be an action/comedy, but the trailer totally makes it seem serious, but we're hoping they're just keeping the jokes a secret for when it his theaters on August 14!
Ch-ch-check out Henry in is sexiest role ever (above)!!!
UPDATE 7:00PM EST: The official Batman v Superman trailer has dropped. See it in all its HD glory below!
Last year, Disney and Marvel had no choice but to release the trailer for Avengers: Age Of Ultron earlier than planned after it was leaked online. Now, it seems that Warner Bros might have to do the same thing for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!
The trailer for the highly anticipated film starring Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck briefly leaked online this week. The unauthorized video was seemingly shot with a phone and was removed from YouTube shortly after it was uploaded.
The trailer focuses primarily on the public's opinion of Superman's after the events of Man of Steel, as we see a statue of the hero tagged "false god".
And it looks like the person most upset with Supes is our boy Batfleck!
Ch-ch-check out the not-so-great recording of a pretty awesome trailer (below)!
