A mother got the best Christmas gift of all when her son was returned to her after he was missing for four years!
Gregory Jean Jr., 13, was sent by his mom, Lisa Smith, to visit his father in Georgia one day… and never returned home.
His father, Gregory Jean Sr., and stepmother, Samantha Davis, are now facing charges of false imprisonment and child cruelty for keeping the boy hidden for so long!
Neighbors would apparently sometimes see Gregory Jr. doing yard work and weren't sure if he even attended school. His mother alleged he was basically living as a slave! That's so horrible!
Thankfully, he was one smart boy and when given a cellphone with only a WIFI connection, he found an unsecured network and Facebook friend requested

Don't worry, no one is eating bats with salsa… but they are making baby bat burritos!
Let us explain!
It's not food! They're just swaddling baby bats so they look like burritos! No bat eating here. LOLz!
The Australian Bat Clinic & Wildlife Trauma Centre in Advancetown, Australia recently took in some flying fox pups and they're super adorable.
Sadly, during a recent heat wave, the bats were separated from their mother. Thankfully, the babies were rescued and have been receiving all the love and care they need.
The whole "love" part is apparently more important than you'd think too! These little babies need to be burrito'd so they feel safe and loved!
Everyone loves a good swaddling!
Check out the video (below) to see pure batty cuteness!!
Nothing is worse than when a puppy is in danger!
Isis the Rottweiler puppy was stuck on the roof of her owner's home for three days while he was staying with a friend.
Apparently, D'Andre Berger, her owner, had his house broken into when he was away. He assumed Isis had run away during the break-in.
Sadly, the pup was left stranded on the roof of his house with no food for three days.
