It's been a long time since 1995!
We wouldn't really expect Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere to still be friends more than 20 years after they divorced, but the supermodel also confirmed in a recent interview with Marc Maron that she and her ex husband are not exactly besties.
The supermodel was 26 and the actor 42 when they married in 1991, pretty much at the height of both their careers, but unfortunately things didn't work out.
Looking back on those years, Cindy said:
"I didn't think I was young, though, but I was young. I was with Richard for, like, six years, but I was only married for two years."
After all this time, Cindy doesn't necessarily feel so close to her former love:
"We're friendly, but I think it's almost like he's gone back to being, like, 'Richard Gere' again, like a stranger, because we don't really see each other that much."
She also admits that perhaps the age gap and fame got in the way:
"I think part of the problem in our relationship was that we were a lot of other things, but I don't know if we were ever friends – like peers, because I was young, and he was Richard Gere."
Well, not every relationship can last forever. At least Cindy seems to have found lifelong bliss with husband Rande Gerber!

We need to cool down after watching these!
That's what we found out in a new series of video interviews for W Magazine, when dozens of actors were asked to pick their favorite sex scenes!
The answers ranged from romantic love scenes to passionate f*cking — to even graphic puppet love in Team America: World Police! (Which both Rogen and Kristen Wiig picked as their fave!)
Cooper revealed that the scene in The Rookie where a woman is "kind of raping Clint Eastwood," got his heart racing — while Theron admitted she first saw a sex scene at only 7 years old!
Find out more fave celeb sex scenes with videos from Cate Blanchett, Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Banks, Jake Gyllenhaal, Bryan Cranston, Rooney Mara, Michael Caine, Saoirse Ronan, Richard Gere, Carey Mulligan, … wait we're not done… Brie Larson, Joel Edgerton, Greta Gerwig, Benicio Del Toro, Maika Monroe, Mya Taylor, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Domhnall Gleeson, Paul Dano, Alicia Vikander, and Bel Powley (below)!
If you feel like you're the only one in the galaxy who never saw Star Wars, you're not alone!
But being the most recognizable franchise in the history of cinema, everyone basically knows the story, right?
That's what this girl tried to prove when her boyfriend gave her a glass of wine and asked her to recap the entire story of the original trilogy — which she has never seen!
Mark Zabala shared the 6-minute video on his Facebook, where his tipsy girlfriend tried to explain what she knew about Star Wars having never watched the films!
She had the gist down, with a few big exceptions — she thinks "Lucas" Skywalker and Princess Leia are love interests, (didn't we all at first?) confuses Harrison Ford with Richard Gere, and thinks the Stormtroopers are good guys!
She struggled with the character names, like "Chihuahua" (Chewbacca) and that "small tiny green guy" who is "obviously Buddha in another timeline."
Watch the Drunk History-esque recap (below) to her her explain the full trilogy!
What a powerful story!
Earlier this month, a picture posted by a fan pretending to be Richard Gere went viral. The message claimed that the star went undercover while filming his new flick Time Out of Mind and gave $100 to various homeless people in New York.
The real 66-year-old icon caught wind of the picture that drew more than 1.6 million likes and chose to clear up the situation.
ICYMI, read the original post (below)!
The movie follows Gere's character — homeless and mentally ill, George — as he tries to fix his relationship with his daughter, played by Jena Malone. During filming, Mr. Gere was essentially undercover in an (sometimes failed) attempt to not be recognized.
Despite not having any social media of his own, the Pretty Woman actor enlisted the help of costar Malone's Facebook profile to send a message to his fans.
He certainly has a type!
The 65-year-old was spotted on vacation in Sicily over the weekend with his rumored GF 32-year-old Alejandra Silva!
Alejandra is a socialite from Spain, and we're totally pro their 33-year age difference as long as they're both happy!
Plus, we're hearing that a friend of Alejandra's told ABC in Spain that the pair has been together for a year and they've managed to stay out of the public eye the whole time.
Have fun, guys!

The couple, who began quietly dating back in April, unfortunately decided to call it quits this month due to 'work commitments'.
According to sources, the 20 year age difference wasn't a factor in the break-up(Padma has a long history of dating older men), but rather it was just an issue of timing.
A source close to the couple revealed:
Sorry, Hollywood screenwriters. Sometimes the best lines in films AREN’T the ones you wrote down in the script!
In fact, some of the most famous scenes in movies are completely improvised on the set! An actor will do or say something that just feels right and…
Like Heath Ledger in his posthumous Oscar-winning role as The Joker in The Dark Knight. No one instructed Heath to applaud like he did while Commissioner Gordon’s promotion was announced at Gotham’s Police Headquarters. But Heath gave director Christopher Nolan a take with a slow clap that was just too good (and evil) not to use!
