Everyone loves cast reunions. Especially ones that happen 20 years after the fact.
The cast of Wayne’s World reunited in Beverly Hills yesterday for an event hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in honor of the HIGHlarious 1992 film!
Mike Myers, Lorne Michaels, Rob Lowe, Lara Flynn Boyle, Dana Carvey and Penelope Spheeris all turned up for the big event!
This was perhaps a bit surprising given that Mike, Dana, and Penelope had fallen out following filming. Apparently, Mike had not only been difficult on set, but was rumored to have taken his Dr. Evil voice from one of Dana’s impressions. Meanwhile, Penelope had been upset that Mike had reportedly prevented her from directing the Wayne’s World sequel. Jeeeeez.
What’s more, Mike admitted:

It's like Steven Soderbergh crept into our bedroom, plugged a movie camera into our sleeping brain, and made fantastic films from ALL of our wildest dreams!!

Making a final appeal to the court, Drew Peterson screamed:
"I did not kill Kathleen!"
The judge did not believe him.
Convicted last September of murdering ex-wife Kathleen Savio, the ladykiller was sentenced today to 38 years in prison.
Ugh. The whole situation is unfathomably tragic.
Thankfully Drew won't be a threat to any other young women for a long, long time.

That's what Rob was spotted doing on the morning of Super Bowl Sunday.
He was snapped while carrying his surfboard along the sandy shores of Malibu.
Rob and a buddy must've wanted to get a nice workout in before chowing down on some Super Bowl snacks.
We bet he makes being physically active a part of his daily routine! How else would he get a bod like his??

Rob Lowe is in the middle of a little revival right now, with his amazing roles on both Parks & Rec, and Californication.
Having said that, we have no idea why he'd go anywhere near a made for TV movie about the Casey Anthony trial called Prosecuting Casey Anthony for the LifeTime channel. It seems counterproductive!
Rob is playing lead prosecutor Jeff Ashton, who is confident that he will get a conviction out of the Florida jury. That's not what happened, though, so even though you know the ending, they're banking on the journey.
Who knows, maybe it'll be fab?? Either way, the real life story is sad enough as it is!
