He's False Advertising Rob Lowe, and he has DirecTV!
One of the funniest commercials on TV these days are DirecTV's ads with the HIGlarious alter egos of Rob Lowe. His alter egos are anything from creepy Rob Lowe, muscle-head Rob Lowe, painfully awkward Rob Lowe and so on.
But not everyone is laughing at the advertisements starring the 51-year-old, specifically Comcast! The cable titan filed a complaint that the DirecTV commercials were misleading!
The National Advertising Division looked into the matter and found that DirecTV's claims that they provide "shorter customer service wait times" and "better signal reliability than cable" were "unsupported."
In response, DirecTV basically called the National Advertising Division out for not having a sense of humor! The company had this to say about the division's findings:

He has the power of fame and fortune, the power of a supremely handsome face and the power to kill flying birds with golf balls!
Rob went on Conan recently to reveal he hasn't played golf in a long time, ever since… the incident.
Back in 2007, Rob was playing in a celebrity tournament in Iowa. At one point, he "hit a really – I thought – nice sand wedge" which sent his golf ball rocketing through the air and right into a flying American goldfinch!!
That's like a million to one shot! What's even crazier is that was also Iowa's state bird! Oh noes!!
The tournament sponsors crunched some numbers and figured out that the odds of Rob hitting a bird mid-air were one out of

We're still so shocked and saddened that Sony has decided to pull The Interview.
Likewise, Hollywood has also shared the frustrations by echoing a common sentiment that creative freedom seemed to have taken a back seat to fear.
The decision to pull the film comes after terrorist threats made by hackers now confirmed to have been working for North Korea.

Johnny Depp was set to give Hollywood legend Shep Gordon the documentary award, at the Hollywood Film Awards on Friday night, for the film about his life, Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon.
But it seems like Mr. Depp got the party started a little too early!
While his speech was heartfelt, the actor was slurring his words so hard and trying to figure out the microphone situation!
We'll watch this!
Rob Lowe is attached to a new sitcom for NBC that seems like it's going to be a rollicking good time!
The Parks & Recreation and The West Wing star previously made a pilot called The Pro with the creators of this new sitcom - Pete Huyck and Alex Gregory - and the three enjoyed working with each other so much that they decided to do it again!
The show features Rob as a father who hasn't really taken responsibility for his teenage kids, but suddenly decides to change his life and become a good dad!
