Federer Vacay

Roger Federer is taking a vacay right now, and it's not like he totally doesn't deserve it!

We mean, the guy just won his SEVENTH Wimbledon title!

That's insane!

Of course he deserves to go to Sardinia, Italy, and spend some time with his lovely wife, Mirka!

Congrats again on your win, Roger!

Wimbledon Rocks In Ratings Despite Andy Murray's Loss

| Filed under: TV NewsTennisRoger Federer

Andy Murray just lost the Wimbledon final to Roger Federer, but the BBC One and ITV1 TV ratings were still great!

At a peak, 16.9 million people were tuned into the final match as Murray was the first Brit to make it to the finals since 1938!

His loss to Roger Federer allowed Federer to tie Pete Sampras' record for 7 wins at Wimbledon.

In the UK, that 16.9 million peak not only accounted for a 67.9% market share but was also the biggest audience since 1990!

That's crazy!

Who would've thought tennis of all things would draw such a huge crowd.

Congrats to Roger Federer!

What a cool venue!!

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, mortal enemies and respected tennis pros, helped launch the ATP World Tour 2012 in Doha, Qatar!

They get the honor of playing the first tournament of the season, the Doha Exxon Mobil Open.

The rad thing is that they got to play a few balls to promote the event, and the court was illuminated by hundreds of candles! So neat!
