We wish it hadn't come to having a heart attack for Rosie O'Donnell to start keeping better care of herself, but at least she's still with us and she knows the importance now!
She's lost 12 pounds since her August 12th heart attack!
Apparently, when her partner Michelle Rounds was diagnosed with rare cancer-like desmoid tumours in June, Rosie kind of lost control and took up a fattening diet of pizza and sweets to calm her nerves, landing her at her highest weight ever.
Here's what she said about the wake-up call:
Kathy Griffin is someone who has struggled with bulimia.
This isn't an easy topic, not by any means. But she recently found it in herself to talk about it while doing the Rosie O'Donnell show.
We're so happy that she's in a better place now, and we can't imagine the war she's been through with her own body image.

A League Of Their Own is one of our favorite sports films because it not only shined a spotlight on the difficulties women athletes face, but it starred some of our favorites like Madonna!
To get the part though, these gals couldn't just look like good baseball players, they had to BE good baseball players!
While Rosie O'Donnell (also a star in the film) was interviewing Penny Marshall on her talk show, the director revealed that actresses auditioning for a part had to first pass "the baseball test."
To even be considered, they had to play the game and be evaluated by some of the sport's best coaches!
So inneresting! Check out the video above to learn all about the secret to casting one of the best baseball movies of all time!
But, if she can do it, you can do it!
And here's how:
"I lost a lot of water weight initially, and then I lost 30 pounds on top of that. A lot of people give up hope when they have had their kids and can't lose that 20 pounds or 40 pounds, or they have gone through issues with weight their entire lives. It becomes so frustrating and debilitating that you give up.
"I worked like a fiend. The diet is 90 percent of it. Being able to just grab something. I like the soups a lot. It's 50 calories. I gotta say I like the snacks too."
And she swears her success is a mix of working hard and Jenny Craig — which we just talked about Carrie Fisher being successful with too!
