Interesting X-Men Casting News!

ryanr.jpg

Hugh Jackman is reprising his role in the new X-Men Origins: Wolverine film, and he's going to have some very interesting actors joining him in the flick.

Both Ryan Reynolds and Black Eyed Peas rapper Will.I.Am have been announced as characters in the movie, though no word on who they will be playing just yet.

Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston and Lynn Collins round out the cast as Sabretooth, William Stryker and Silver Fox, respectively.

Three peeps have been added to the cast.

That's an interesting mix.

Who do you think Ryan could play????

Update:

Ryan Reynolds is set to play Deadpool, "Friday Night Lights" regular Taylor Kitsch to star as Gambit and will.i.am is joining the cast as John Wraith.

Really Getting Married????

baby__opt.jpg

No, not him and the baby! Ryan & Scarlett, silly.

Reports surfaced last month that Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson, dating for about a year now, are engaged.

ScarJo's rep issued a denial at the time.

Well, adding fuel to the marriage talks….

Johansson was recently spotted with her mother and sister shopping for wedding dresses at the Monique Lhuillier boutique in Los Angeles.

"They stayed for a while," a source said.

We're hearing wedding bells!

Quote Of The Day

nakeedeyecoverlowrez.jpg

“I’ve certainly read Perez Hilton’s website—and there’s a place for everything. The world has gotten so much smaller and people are more incorporated into celebrity living than they used to be. The internet has afforded many people not only to comment on it, but to take part in it. I don’t think there’s any repercussions to that I think it’s great. The internet is one of the most beautiful, global open forums in the world—why not have those things?"

That's It???

You get Ryan Reynolds to pose for the cover of a gay magazine and you don't have him show some skin???

Sad!

Then again, The Advocate tries to be more respectable than that.

But beefcake sells!

Ryan on…….

On homophobia:
“Anyone who is homophobic – they’re triggered on some level by something within themselves that they’re desperately afraid of.”

On his gaydar:
“…I have the worst gaydar of all time. Unless I see two men full-on Frenchkissing, I have no definitive answer one way or the other” […] “It’s the same thing where I won’t ask a woman if she’s pregnant unless the baby is crowning. Unless the baby is literally dangling by an umbilical cord while she’s on a hospital curney.”

On gossip blogs & the internet:
“It’s this hyperactive, fragmented shit-chat, and it’s everywhere. I don’t know who I’m quoting, but I know I’m quoting somebody: We’re entertaining ourselves to death. Is’s so easy to just king of click out, check out, and plug in.”

On celebrity:
“Hollywood is a place where if celebrities stumble or basically refuse to actually grow up, they’re certainly not punished for it. They’re actually celebrated for it” […] “And now the goal is to only see celebrities fucking up. That’s become the choice of a new generation…”
