According to reports, if you want to be Ryan Seacrest's bride, you'll have to get past his momma, Connie, first.

She says in an interview, "I'll certainly get a vote. I want Ryan to make the right choice. I guess that's a mother's dream."

Momma Seacrest also reveals that, "Ryan likes to date, but he's so busy now. There's not a woman in the world that wants to go out with a guy who gets up at 4:30 in the morning and goes to bed at 8:30 at night. We're going to find him a better life as far as not working every single hour of the day before he makes a commitment."

Hey Ryan, your schedule sounds a lot like ours.

We'd make a perfect couple!

Everyone seems to be getting their own show on MTV these days!

From Paris Hilton and Pete Wentz to Whitney Port and now another The Hills co-star will be receiving his own show.

And no, it's still not Speidi.

It's Brody Jenner!

The new show, which is coming from Ryan Seacrest's production company, will be titled Bromance.

Hot title!

Ryan also produces Denise Richards' show. Let's hope this new one is NOTHING like Denise's.

Bromance has been picked up for six episodes and will feature some "normal and regular" guys who go to Hollywood to compete in a series of challenges to become part of Brody's "entourage."

Only six episodes???? MTV must not be confident in Brody's ability to pull of a show by himself!

The competitions in Bromance will consist from anything like skydiving to properly dealing with the paparazzi.

The contestants will also have "group dates" with Jenner, along with some "alone time" in every episode.

That kind of sounds like a Tila Tequila rip-off, which was just a rip off from Bret Michaels' and Flavor Flav's shows, which were a rip off from The Bachelor.

It also sounds VERY similar to Paris' new BFF show!!!!

Originality is key dead!

To make things different, the eliminations will not consist of flowers or keys. They will have Hot Tub Elimination Ceremonies, in which the rejected guys will have to leave the bachelor pad dripping wet in a swimsuit from the hot tub, take their luggage, and go.

So gay!

At least eye candy is good.

Oh, and also executive producing the show is Jenner, who'll be joined by "producer" and Hill's co-star Frankie Delgado.

Hah.

P.S. We're hearing that the Whitney Port pilot hasn't been picked up!

And another reality TV show to the lineup!

NBC has teamed up with American Idol host Ryan Seacrest for a new reality skein.

The show is currently titled Mommas's Boy, very apropos for a Seacrest prodcution.

The program will consist of eligible bachelors who will have their moms help pick them the right woman.

Haven't we already seen this before???

Seacrest would be the show's executive producer along with the producers of NBC's former reality show Average Joe.

According to NBC, "Producers are looking for moms and their sons who are willing to work together as a team to find the perfect mate. These mothers should have strong opinions about whom their sons should date and be willing to separate the good from the bad."

Does this mean Ryan will be executive producer and also a contestant????

Screw the Katie Couric "taking over" Larry King's job rumors!

There's an even better one!

Word is that Ryan Seacrest is in 'serious' negotiations to take over Larry King Live when the old fogie retires.

This doesn't surprise media insiders. Larry told The New York Times in April 2007 that Seacrest would be his first choice to take over the show when the time came.

“He’s the classic generalist,” said King. “The only thing I don’t know, and I’ve gotten to know him pretty well, is how versed he is in politics, world affairs. Does he read the paper? Is he interested in Iraq? Because if he is, he’s going to be very good.”

We're so getting Ryan a subscription to the Economist!!

Alicia Keys' shocking comments to Blender magazine sure has kicked up quite the firestorm for the singer.

Keys called-in to Ryan Seacrest' radio show Tuesday to do damage control "clear things up."

Overall, she thought the Blender article was great, but she is disappointed that the mag decided to put a 'negative spin' on her comments.

Alicia thinks she was misconstrued in the article and she'd like us to know….

- That she's a very positive person.
- Her only aim is to uplift people and spread love.
- She's not a conspiracy theorist.
- The government didn't create gangsta rap, just the term. And, she thinks they could have done more at the time to do something about the problems the rappers were talking about.
- She doesn't know who killed Biggie and 2pac, but she thinks the media sensationalized their deaths and their rivalry.

And there you have it!

Is she embarrassed to be seen with him??? Or are they just trying to play it cool for the paparazzi???

Ken & Barbie, aka Ryan Seacrest and Sophie Monk, continue to step out publicly together, albeit a bit shyly.

The pair dined at an LA sushi restaurant on Tuesday night and it seemed to go quite well. The two chewed the fat for over two hours before heading home.

Australian actress Monk was engaged to Benji Madden and Seacrest was most recently linked to one of the blonde girls from Sunset Tan.

He definitely has a type!

She sure knows how to pick 'em!

When she first moved to Los Angeles, no one knew Australian actress/singer Sophie Monk.

Within a few months of being here, Sophie began dating Benji Madden and she scored a place on the D-list.

Now that that relationship is over, the blonde bombshell has her eyes set on….. Ryan Secarest!

The TV and radio personality was spotted with Monk leaving L.A. Foxtail nightclub in the same car this past weekend.

Maybe they're "just friends," but they'd be an ideal couple.

It'd be like a real-life Ken and Barbie!

P.S. Sophie's now on the D+ list!
