It's been a rough few months of 2016 after the tragic deaths of several cultural icons.
The Love creator partnered with HBO to organize the private event on Sunday night to remember The Larry Sanders Show star with friends and family.
The El Lay event was part memorial service, part variety show, and part celebrity roast — featuring everyone from fellow comics to a Buddhist monk!
Apatow, who was a writer on The Larry Sanders Show, served as master of ceremonies, telling the mourners/audience:
Is that you, Emma Stone??
Emma and her Crazy, Stupid, Love costar Steve Carell are back, and we mean WAY back in 1973 for the upcoming film Battle Of The Sexes.
The tennis flick — set to hit theaters some time in 2017 — recounts the historic match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs, at the time the host viewed sporting event in television history.
But it will also delve deeper into the athletes' personal lives:
As Donald Trump continues to dominate the primaries with his blunt and colorful campaign, many are comparing the GOP frontrunner to Adolf Hitler.
And since a comparison like that is pretty much the MOST offensive one, Conan O'Brien invited Hitler on Thursday's show to defend himself! WHA??
Sarah Silverman came out dressed like the Nazi party leader, wearing a Nazi uniform and donning a fake Hitler mustache — and said he/she wasn't too keen on being compared to the Republican frontrunner.
Oh boy! Things got heated!
On Thursday, Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and John Kasich participated in the Republican Debate where every politician brought their A-game!
From terrorism to the economy to Trump's penis, no topic was left untouched!
And of course, your favorite A-listers chimed in on Twitter!
Celebs including Sarah Silverman and Billy Bush couldn't help but give their two cents!

That 10 percent cut sure is gonna help Abby Lee Miller right about now…
Maddie will be starring in The Book of Henry alongside Jacob Tremblay, Sarah Silverman, Naomi Watts, Lee Pace, Bobby Moynihan, Dean Norris, and St. Vincent's Jaeden Lieberher for her big screen debut directed by Jurassic World's Colin Trevorrow — and she's actually one of the main characters.
Apparently, the drama will follow Jaeden's Henry as he falls in love with Maddie's Christina, and it'll be up to Naomi and Jacob to keep them together.
We're mostly just excited to see the real star of Room onscreen again, but we're pretty happy for Maddie as well.
Do U think she'll be able to keep up with her A-List costars??
