The late Steve Irwin would be SO proud of the way his family has managed itself since his tragic passing.
His daughter Bindi sat next to her brother Robert and their amazing mother Terri as they appeared on Good Morning America this past Thursday.
There the whole family discussed carrying on the late patriarch's legacy, and how important it is to them. Momma Terri said:
Looks like this Flipper flipped out!
While visiting San Antonio's SeaWorld, a 9-year old girl was reportedly petting a dolphin at their Dolphin Cove where petting is allowed, when the dolphin allegedly bit her hand so tightly, that her mother was unable to free her from its clutches.
In fact, it took a SeaWorld employee to extricate her from the mouth of the beast. Okay, dolphins aren't beasts, but still…scary stuff! We knew dolphins had sex for fun, but gnawing on little girls? Keep it classy, guys!
Now, PETA is asking
Ever since the documentary Blackfish came out, all eyes have been on SeaWorld. And they're judging… hard.
Some of those judging eyes belong to the U.S. government!
The U.S. Department of Agriculture actually cited SeaWorld Orlando for violating the Animal Welfare Act!
SeaWorld can try and spin the press in their favor all they want, but the fact that they were using
SeaWorld has finally responded to the reputation-shattering documentary Blackfish.
No one wants to see a fair and balanced doc, they want sensationalism! At least that's how SeaWorld feels. They feel abused.
So, they're finally pulling their heads out of the sand, and, they've gone on the media offensive!
They've bided their time and gotten their facts straight and provided links and sources to back up everything they say.
Though, we're honestly just left feeling like it's propaganda versus propaganda.
What's awful is
We were so proud when we heard that Heart, Willie Nelson, REO Speedwagon and other musicians had pulled out of performing at SeaWorld's Bands, Brew & BBQ Festival.
Things seemed pretty dire and we were hoping the whole event would be canceled.
Maybe then they'd start losing real money and eventually SeaWorld would shut down and all the whales would go free!!
However, money must talk because Kid Rock and Alan Jackson have stepped in to headline the event this weekend at SeaWorld Orlando.
We'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt but Blackfish is too popular for them to not have at least heard about the cruelty.
They gotta know the reason why all the other acts dropped out.
We guess some people only care about money??? We're very disappointed.

A large corporation only really cares about the bottom line? It's all about the money? Realllllly??
Yeah… not much of a shocker here.
A former SeaWorld trainer, Kim Ashdown, who also starred in the cruelty exposing documentary Blackfish, opened up about what it was like to work at SeaWorld and the lies they were told.
