With murder, mystery, mayhem, and just a dash of Kardashians — The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story started off with the perfect premiere episode!
While most of us know the conclusion to this story twenty years after the verdict was read, the FX drama carefully pieced together the case from the beginning while giving us a look inside the lives of all the major players involved.
Over on Bundy Drive, a man walking his dog comes across Nicole Brown Simpson's white Akita, who leads them to the bodies. The police soon
This actually makes a lot of sense.
It's pretty much impossible to have avoided hearing about the #OscarsSoWhite controversy, so we're not surprised that an issue about race in movies was a hot topic even at a TV show premiere.
The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story had its El Lay premiere Wednesday night, and Oscar-winner/O.J. Simpson himself Cuba Gooding, Jr. was not shy about his opinions on the Academy's nominations process.
While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the Jerry Maguire star defended the Oscars due to the fact that awards shows actually have the least amount of power when it comes to equality, saying:
Only a few more days until the premiere!
On Wednesday they dressed up in their finest to promote the future cult classic, and they all looked pretty darn fab!
Sarah Paulson, who plays prosecutor Marcia Clark, was impeccable in a ruby-colored Stella McCartney illusion dress with a silver belt cinched around her waist.
Connie Britton, who plays Nicole Brown Simpson's friend Faye Resnick, followed Sarah's lead and chose a gemstone-hued sapphire shift dress with cut-out neckline.
You could tell she loved it — the confidence was unmistakable!

We don't know about you, but we cannot wait for the release of the FX series which outlines the trial that captivated millions of people.
For the KUWTK matriarch, however, this case was very close to home.
The 60-year-old met O.J.'s wife when she was just a teenager through her then-husband Robert Kardashian. She told People:
"I went to bed one night and I woke up the next morning and my entire universe had changed. They were two of the best friends I ever had in my entire life. They were my family. O.J. was like my big brother. So I not only mourned the loss of Nicole, but I mourned the loss of O.J. and that relationship."
We're pretty excited for this!
The People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story is only a couple weeks away from giving us a dramatization of what went on behind the scenes of O.J. Simpson's trial in which he was accused of murdering Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

Not only that, but we get to hear from the stars of the show like Cuba Gooding Jr. and Sarah Paulson about the touchy subject of the new series!
Don't forget to tune in to the premiere on Tuesday, February 2 at 10 p.m. EST on FX!

Stella McCartney has A LOT of friends.
The designer invited pretty much all of them to her A/W 2016 collection event at Amoeba Music in LA on Tuesday.
From besties like Gwyneth Paltrow to people we really wouldn't expect to care about a Stella McCartney show — like Quincy Jones or Jamie Hince, for example — the whole world was there!
Way to show off!
We don't love it.
