seth macfarlane explains kevin spacey joke origin

Family Guy is unafraid to make controversial jokes, which is why the show often seems ahead of its time.

As you surely saw, following the MANY sexual misconduct scandals which dropped in 2017, the Seth MacFarlane created show made headlines as old jokes about A-list predators resurfaced. Specifically, a quip from '05 about Kevin Spacey revealed that rumors about the House Of Cards alum's predatory ways have been around for some time.

Over the past couple months, Seth MacFarlane fans have noticed he got to scandals long before anyone else, taking jabs at Harvey Weinstein during the Oscars nomination ceremony and at Kevin Spacey on Family Guy.

How did he know??

Well, obviously many who experienced abuse have known about these things for years — maybe he was just listening?

It seems he did it again with Charlie Rose. The talk show host and CBS News anchor has now been fired after several female employees came forward with accusations of sexual harassment.

While we only heard about this for the first time on Monday, Family Guy had a joke about Rose being inappropriate at work in an episode from May of 2016!

jessica barth accuses former manager sexual assault

Ted's Jessica Barth isn't done fighting back.

On Thursday, the 37-year-old went to the Los Angeles Police Department to revive sexual assault claims she made against her former manager, David Guillod. Allegedly, years ago, the Atomic Blonde executive producer drugged Jessica at a dinner and then sexually assaulted her.

To make matters worse, Barth claims Guillod threatened her with a lawsuit to keep her from pursuing the 2012 allegation. While it's been some time since Jessica's initial complaint, the blonde actress is coming forward once more as a different woman reached out to her via email and said that David drugged and assaulted her as well.

The Hollywood heavyweight's lawyer, Thomas M. Ferlauto, has since released a statement on the matter to The Wrap:

What else does Seth MacFarlane know that we don't??

The creator of Family Guy and American Dad famously jabbed Harvey Weinstein over sexual harassment back in 2013 during the nationally televised Oscar nomination announcements.

He later explained the joke came from anger over the real account of his friend Jessica Barth, who costarred in Ted.

Donald Trump Has Lost $600 MILLION Since Running For President!

From what we've heard, nothing hurts Donald Trump the way losing money does.

His bankruptcy was the one thing he told Seth MacFarlane not to mention in his Comedy Central Roast, his entire feud with Rosie O'Donnell began because she once mentioned it on The View, and he broke tradition and refused to reveal his tax returns to the American people.

So we're guessing he's not going to be too happy with Forbes. The mag, which ranks personal fortunes annually, has assessed President Trump's net worth to have fallen from #156 in 2016 to #248 today.

After a thorough investigation, they estimate he has gone from $3.7 billion to $3.1 billion. So where did that $600 mil go??

Only $66 mil was spent on his campaign, presumably buying off-the-book things like fake crowds at his announcement speech. $25 mil was lost settling that Trump University lawsuit — you know, because it was a huge scam.

But the bulk of the loss was an estimated $400 million in real estate dips as the Goon-in-Chief single-handedly tarnishes his own brand every single day. Apparently far fewer people want to stay at Trump hotels and resorts or play at Trump golf courses both in the U.S. and abroad in Scotland and Ireland knowing the name Trump is synonymous with racism, misogyny, incompetence, and unethical behavior.

Funny how that works.

Who knew these two would sound so good together??

On Tuesday, Carpool Karaoke: The Series released a clip featuring unlikely duet partners Ariana Grande and Seth MacFarlane belting out Suddenly Seymour from the musical Little Shop of Horrors!

Although The Late Late Show's spinoff series is not hosted by James Corden, we have a feeling he would approve of the My Everything singer and the Family Guy creator singing the parts of Audrey and Seymour!

At one point in the video, Seth hits the breaks pretty hard, but the two kept going! Miz Grande exclaimed afterward:

"We almost died! But the belting was more important… I like that we didn't skip a beat. That is what comes from being a theater person, you stay in it."

Who knew singing while driving could be so dangerous??
