Kelly Clarkson Talks About New Album

Miss Independent Is Coming Out With 5th Album

Kelly Clarkson is wrapping up work on her fifth album, and she has been posting about it online.

"I record my last song on the 25th of this month and then we will be releasing the album!" Kelly wrote Monday night.

She has been working more this month with writer/producer Toby Gad, whose previous credits include Beyoncé's If I Were a Boy and Fergie's Big Girls Don't Cry, as well as songs with Kris Allen, Jordin Sparks and Allison Iraheta.

Also, Kelly says, Eric Hutchinson, our pal who opened for Kelly on her fall 2009 tour (and whose hit OK, It's Alright With Me was used on an American Idol episode in Season 9), has penned one of her favorites on the new album, a song "highly influenced by Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder."

When it comes to inspirations, Kelly writes:

"This album was influenced by Prince, Tina Turner, Sheryl Crow, Radiohead and there's a little bit of a Country vibe/influence on a couple of songs. … [T]he album is gonna be a great pop record! I can't wait for y'all to hear it!"

Hope the album's as good as it sounds.

We can't wait to hear it!

Marie Osmond To Re-Marry FIRST Husband!

marie osmond to remarry her first husband

Back in March, we reported that Marie Osmond was considering re-marrying her first husband. Now, according to the Enquirer, it's actually going to happen.

After Marie Osmond's first husband, Stephen Craig, helped get her through her son Michael's suicide, she's decided to re-marry the man.

Here's what she had to say about it:

"I'm getting married again - it's what my Michael would have wanted!"

Here's what a family friend had to say about the wedding:

"She's finally ready to get on with her life. Stephen has helped her move past her grief."

We're definitely a bit skeptical. As we said before, if it didn't work out the first time, why will it work out now?

Then again, Marie's gone through a tough time, and if this makes her feel better, then we suppose it could be a good thing.

As Sheryl Crow once said, "If it makes you happy, it can't be that bad."

What do U think of Marie Osmond's re-marriage plans?

Jennifer Aniston Gets Jiggy With 3 Ex-Boyfriends!

Jennifer Aniston invited 3 ex-boyfriends to her party

That's right!

Jennifer Aniston invited not one ex-boyfriend to her big Beverly Hills bash, but three!

Gerard Butler and Christopher Gartin, who both dated Jen this year showed up along with more than 150 guests at a party she had at her home this past Saturday.

Also in the mix was a high school boyfriend named Tom.

Tom who? Tom who dated Jennifer Aniston before Brad, that's who!

Apparently, having 3 former lovers at the same party wasn't a problem as no particular drama ensued.

A guest at the party commented:

"It was awkward but Jen just got on with it. She thinks it's nice that she gets on with all her exes but they seemed to find it weird all being in the same place."

A-listers Tom Hanks, Ben Affleck, Courteney Cox and Sheryl Crow were all there and of course Jen's new BFF Chelsea Handler rolled in about 2 whole minutes after 50 Cent arrived.

Sounds like a fun party. Wish we were there!

Sheryl Crow's Farm NOT Selling At Auction

But she's certainly not destitute!

Sheryl Crow attempted to sell her Tennessee farm at auction, but she didn't get the bidding she was hoping for!

The 150 acre, 10,264 square-foot home has five bedrooms, a theatre room, added spaces wired for a music studio, nanny quarters and a three-bedroom guest house. Cross Creek Farm is also solar powered!

Guess people couldn't afford the $7.5 million asking price.

Maybe next time, honey!

Sperminated Christina Applegate Picks Up The Booze!

christina-applegate-prenant.jpg

Ha! What a tempting task for a pregnant woman!

Christina Applegate headed to a liquor store on Friday before attending a party at Sheryl Crow's El Lay home.

Considering she can't drink, it's a very sweet gesture.

Rally To Restore Sanity Draws Over 200,000 People To D.C.!!

Jon Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity and Stephen Colbert's March to Keep Fear Alive drew almost 250,000 people to the National Mall in Washington D.C. on Saturday.

Appearing live on Comedy Central and on satellite broadcasts in 20 different cities, such as in Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, and Boise, the three hour rally mostly consisted of satire and comedy with humorous sketches and surprise musical guests such as Kid Rock, Ozzy Osbourne, The Roots, Sheryl Crow, Tony Bennett, and Yusuf Islan, the former Cat Stevens.

However, it took a serious turn in the end when Jon Stewart made a speech saying these are "hard times, not end times."

He added:

"This was not a rally to ridicule people of faith or people of activism, or look down our noses at the heartland or passionate argument, or to suggest that times are not difficult and we have nothing to fear. They are and we do.

The image of Americans that is reflected back to us by our political and media process is false. [Americans hear] how fragile our country is, on the brink of catastrophe, torn by polarizing hate, and how it's a shame that we can't work together to get things done. The truth is, we do. We work together to get things done every damn day. The only place we don't is here or on cable TV."

Wow.

Did U go to the rally??

Fantastic!

Today is the grand opening of the Sheryl Crow Imaging Center in Los Angeles which has state-of-the-art digital screening and diagnostic technologies for the detection of breast cancer!

The center is part of the Pink Lotus Breast Center and breast cancer survivor Sheryl says:

"Joining forces with the Pink Lotus Breast Center has provided me with a wonderful platform to create awareness and encourage the millions of American women over 40 to get their annual mammogram.

"Detecting breast cancer early is a woman's best chance at survival, and digital full-field mammography is the gold standard of early detection."

Good for Sheryl — and for all the women who will benefit from the center!
